Good morning friends,

I'm looking forward to a producitve, pleasant (an cold) day today.

Nothing huge on the agenda, just the gym and work.

Yesterday, I knocked down a big project that's been plaguing me at work, and did my PA state taxes last night. Then I played wii for  while and Mary and I capped off the night by enjoying a free Redbox flick.

I have to do laundry soon. I do gym clothes/sock/underwear every week, but I haven't done my work clothes for a while, and the hanmper is overlfowing, and the pile is seriously like almost five feet tall. I probably have too many shirts.

Stay warm, stay positive, and have a great day

Good Morning all.......

I got to work a little early today so got started on a few things. I am here till about 9:30 then will head to the other office with my favorite Doc! I will finish my day at 3:30, head home, and begin dinner. We will eat a little earlier today as 2 of my kiddos have physicals at the doctors this evening. Then it's home for showers and bed.

In the midst of work today I will also be scheduling some unexpected IV infusions and some injections I just found out I have to begin again. So it should be a busy day overall. And with another sleepless night last night, my butt will be dragging by this evening! I think this may be a day I stop for an extra coffee or two!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Am I seriously the second poster? That has NEVER happened.  Today is actually going to be pretty tame.  I am about to put my daughter on the bus and then will come back and lay back down.  I am going to rest as much as possible today because I go back to work tomorrow.  It's only 1/2 days, but still.. I haven't worked in a month.

The only other thing that I HAVE to do today is go to the post office to get a change of address card and mail out the registration for my daughter for school.

Other than that, I will try desperately to get my liquids in and do a bit of packing.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning! I was able to accomplish A LOT yesterday and work - felt good to get some of the lingering crap off of my desk!

Today has me at wor****il 4 then off to the bank and the grocery store. I am craving salad and fruit so I need to stock up. When I get home I'll put away the groceries, eat my sushi (YUM) and try and get to bed early again tonight.

Make it a great day!

Good morning everyone - Norm, you're the MAN for laundry duty!! Mary is one lucky girl.

I'm at work this morning - yes, its stinking COLD again! But supposed to warm up later this week and rain. Beats snow.

I went to the clubhouse where we live on the way home last night and got on the treadmill for 1/2 hour - almost gave in after 20 minutes but then a great song came on my MP3 and kept me motivated to go the additional 10 minutes - man, I slept like a baby last night! Tonight I'll ride my bike and do some free weights - really trying to get into a good work-out routine again.

Not much going on today other than work - making taco salad for dinner AFTER I ride my bike - if I do it before I never get my exercise in, so exercise first.

My daughter had her first follow up appt with the surgeon yesterday - he said he was very confident that they cleaned all the MRSA infections out of her old incision but they had to cut her even further - at least they were able to go over the same old one. She still has 2 drains in until at least Thursday when she goes back again, but she said she's feeling better already.

Hope everyone has a great day! Kathy

Hi everyone!

Heading out to my post op visit with Dr. Herman in a little bit.  That's about the extent of my day.  Planning on going back to work tomorrow.  I only have one shirt that I can get over all the bandages and drains....so my wardrobe will be limited and if the drains dont come out today, I will still stink for lack of a shower...good thing my coworkers love me LOL

Good morning

I just finished cleaning off my dining room table which somehow gets piled with junk constantly.  I'm off to the gym for cardio and weights and then will get some work done for the course I teach.  Looking forward to meeting Eileen and Laureen for dinner later.

Have a wonderful day!

Well, as you can see I have internet access back at home :)  I know this sounds stupid, but Brian did ALL of that stuff so I've never hooked up my computer to an internet source.  So I came home, cleaned up the mess he made when he had his disagreement with the darn internet, unplugged everything and got it working again.  I'm proud of myself, dammit!  Of course, my printer is not cooperating at the moment but I will tackle that another day.

That was the big plan for today - get my internet back up and working.

I am eating "dinner" or whatever you want to call it right now.

Hubby is in a mood.  My general MO is to smother him with affection and try to pull him out of all of this - but really I've come to a very hard decision that I cannot put myself through this every couple of months.  I love my husband dearly but he has issues - depression - which he is refusing to deal with.  And if he won't deal with it I have decided it is unhealthy for me to get to overly concerned about it.  So as far as I'm concerned, he's on his own and like I told him "I love you and when you are ready for a wife again, let me know - I will be here"  It sounds harsh but it's the only way I will keep MY sanity.  And I am hell bent on putting myself first.

Wow - sorry for the vent.

Anyway - finishing up my english muffin, will take a nice hot shower and go to bed.

Back to work 7p-7a tonight.  We've been killed for 3 nights in a row - last night we were up to 20 people in the waiting room and a 3 1/2 hour wait for "non emergent emergencies"  (This is what we call them - for things that don't need an emergency room - like a sore throat for 3 mos.  Sorry, not a need for an ER)  That's just ridiculous!  The whole hospital is full - lots of admitted people waiting for beds down in the ER because there's no place to put them upstairs.  Hopefully tonight will be better but it doesn't appear that way!

Stay safe and warm everyone!

Pam

YAY! You're back!!

I think that the tough love tactic is perfect! No sense in you both being down!

Sleep well
