It is the best decision you will ever make!! I am a newbie too and this board has been such a huge help. Everyone is so welcoming and kind....and the best thing is they have all been there. Go ahead and ask away, someone will respond.

That whole "they operated on your stomach not your mind" thing will become a mantra and you will hear soooo many of us say it from time to time.  It's definately a mind game during the difficult times and definately interesting to "retrain" yourself but it can be done!
