** Sunday Roll Call**
Hi all,
I am home from my wonderful trip to Lancaster with my daughter, her husband and the Munchkin. She and I had a blast all day. We went to the Amish Village and saw horses, and goats and bunny rabbits and a mommy duck and a baby duck and miniature horses, and all sorts of fun things. Then, we went back to the hotel and swam for about an hour. Then we watched the Phillies game, boo hiss, they blew another one. Then we went to Friendlys where Mommy and Daddy got her ice cream while Aunt Kathy took me to Sonic for a burger and I had a diet soda. Then we went back to the hotel for more swimming. She is a water baby. After a rough night, she had a nightmare and gas, we got up and swam some more this morning. After the kids left to go home to Michigan, I went to the Carter outlet for a baby shower gift, and teh Eagles End Zone for a tank top on sale. Now I am home, doing laundry and cleaning.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

The bill? No, not really. The amount of food? yes. One of the cruel tricks of this whole process is that relatively healthy food is generally more expensive. But really - not THAT much more expensive.
For instance...I buy the greek yogurts and generally have at least one a day as a snack...it's about $1.09 (although this week they are on sale 10 for $10) and when you think about it...where else are you getting a snack these days for a buck? Maybe a cheeseburger from the value meal but that's about it.
But I also still have hubby at home...who ate a lot before and still eats a lot now...LOL..so I cook the same amount...and just have some more left overs for me (if I keep it away from him long enough...sigh....)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
