Help! Help! Help!

Ok everyone I have a question that no one has talked to me about before. Not one time during my testing and year long journey to get here today did one person talk to me about bowel movements after surgery!!! I don't know what to be expecting. I am 4 days post-op, had some liquid Sunday and today had some more forming in the morning, and now complete liquids for about an hour. I am worried bc on my paperwork it says if you have diarrehea for 72 hours to call the doc, but it wasn't all liquids for 72 hours!! My question here is, what should I be expecting here?? I mean nothing but liquids have been in my body for 2 weeeks now!!! Help please!!

Suzanne- simply put liquids in = liquids out.  It's totally normal, once you advance your diet, your "poo" will advance and change too.

Don't worry..Yeah right...

It's normal. I asked the exact same question at about the same time.  It will get better.  It will be gross, runny mess for now.  When you add solids it will start to form again.

By the way, I am in Whitehall so if you ever want to get together.. just let me know. I'm not that far from you.

Thank you thank you thank you! I feel much better already. I was starting to get worried that something would be wrong. I guess it makes sense, there are only liquids going in so that's all that should be coming out.
Yeah, Whitehall is close. I used to shop at the mall, let me correct myself, I am going to be shopping in that mall again soon, and I don't mean Lane Bryant!!! I actually went to Kutztown too and I worked over on Cedar Crest Blvd. Yeah, maybe sometime in the near future when I get better we can meet up!! Thanks!
