****Saturday Roll Call****

Good Morning Everyone,
I am having trouble sleeping for a lot of reasons, psycho-puppy is the chief culprit right now.

Saturday has me heading to my hospital job for the first time in ages.  In October, I started developing extreme body aches and chronic sinus infections at the same time.  Working two jobs was just killing me, so I took a leave of absence.  Well, I had planned to return to the job right after Easter, as I was recuperated from my sinus surgery and my doc put me on a med that was helping me with my depression and body aches at the same time.  Easter Sunday saw me in the ER with a broken foot.

After work, I will be taking psycho-puppy for a walk, and then settling in to see if the Phillies can redeem themselves, and break their losing streak.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Trish and Everyone!

It's been awhile since I've posted here.  Alot of you still see me on facebook! (I'm not addicted) heh!

I dont have any real plans today.  I have to work and put up my order.  I'll be there from 6-2:30.  After that I'll pick up hubby from work and probably head to walmart for some food.  These silly people here expect to eat! (The nerve!)

I'm not too sure what I'll be eating today.  I saw the DR yesterday.  The last two months had been a struggle to keep me from gaining weight.  I desperately needed a fill.  I got one yesterday and wow is it tight.  I'm to be on soft and liquids until tomorrow.

After I feed the family I'll take the dogs for their walk.  We've been increasing it.  Somedays we walk 3 miles.  Sunday after Deidre and I take the dogs for a walk we are going to go on one for ourselves.  Maybe I'll see if I can walk an aditional 5 miles.  Today will end my work week.  I'm excited to have my Sunday & Monday off!

Hope you all have a great day!

Hey Denise,
You sound great.  Of course we talk about bodily functions here, and it should feel good to pass that gas.  The more walking you do, the more you will pass it.  When I had my RNY, I would try to add a little more distance with each walk, and make it count as much as possible.  Remember that when they do the surgery, they fill your gut with air.  All that air has to go somewhere.

Keep up the great work.

Hugs,
Trish

Welcome to the Losers Bench.  Hope they spring you soon, and you get your freedom.  Good for you for the laps you are doing around the halls.  Keep that up when you get out.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning all,

Well, a little frustrated over getting the support groups up and running.  I was informed that I am near inactive status.  Funny, when I go to the roundtable discussions and have two support groups a month.  Oh well, I guess it can get overwhelming with all the Leaders to keep track of.

Do you ever feel like you are screaming at the top of your lungs and no one is hearing you?  I feel that way.  I can explain and explain and explain and it goes no where.   Sorry, I am a little frustrated right now.

Today's meeting is a walk and then a brainstorm session to plan next month's meeting if anyone decides to show up.  I can see how frustrating it can be to have an advocacy group, knowing the great need, and no one is listening.

There are some good things happening though.  I am blessed in many other ways and am thankful.  I have all of you here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good Morning Trish!  Hopefully psycho puppy will settle into a routine soon enough!

Diane - good to see you here...although you're right...I see you on FB all the time, LOL

As for me...today is up in the air.  Hubby and I spent the evening in New Hope last night.  What a cute little town!  Full of, ah, colorful people and eclectic shops and restaurants!  I would have splurged on a really nice meal out (I'm such a foodie - but now in a good way) but hubby is a meat and potatoes type of guy and the menu's weren't exactly his "standard" so we ate at a pub like place, which was just as awesome!  I brought the camera and everything!  And then proceeded to leave it in the car *sigh* so, no pics :(

Anyway...back on track...today....I really want to go to the Lancaster area!  I tried convincing him to go last night, get a room, and spend all day there today.  But he wouldn't go for it.  I jokingly said "You never want to have fun" and he did say "well, I'm all for fun...just not for fun over night" so I'm hoping that means we can go today?  I'm looking up places now to go see....

If that doesn't happen I'll try to hit the farmers market here in Easton prior to the monsoons coming that are forecasted.  And I'll run to the grocery store so we can stop feeling like old mother hubbard in this house.  Then it'll be dinner at home...I'm thinking of trying my hand at a cheese fondu with some healthy dippers like apples, celery, carrots, etc.  We will see.

So...how's that for absolutely no idea?

Enjoy!

Pam

Hey Pam,
When I was in Lancaster two years ago, we stayed in the Howard Johnson's down from Dutch Wonderland.  It has an indoor pool, and an indoor water park, fee of course for the park.  We did not go to the park, but the pool was great.

Just an FYI should you head that way soon.

Hugs,
Trish
