Back by Popular Demand Beck Group

Hi yal. I have had several folks ask about the possibility of doing a Beck Group again. I am willing to do so. SO let me know if you have any interest and we will get something scheduled. What you do is buy the book and read it and each week we chat and discuss the chapter it's content and the excercises. We provide support and I answer questions. Sound good? ANy interest? Let me know

i like the book the best the workbook is not that user friendly
she has a new edition that has a green cover i like even more

I have to plead my ignorance---what is a Beck Group?

the book The Beck Diet Solution is a cognitive behavioral approach to changing food behaviors
we read the book do the excercises and then meet in the chat room at an assigned day and time to discuss get support and I facilitate and answer questions if needed

you might want to check I think that there is only 1 chat room now for all of OH. No more PA chat room.... I could be wrong though

PS - I am at least going to get the book!!

Liz - I just got into the PA chat room without a problem.  I went to Chat which is in the blue bar above where forum home, message board, recent posts, chat, member list, find a surgeon and help links are.  Give it a try and see if it works for you.
