Hi all!! I'm Liz, I live in Easton PA (the very eastern side of the state) I am 2 1/2 years out from lap RNY (1/30/07), Dr Brader was my surgeon and my surgery was done at Barix in Lanhorne, I do my followups with him in Lancaster now though. I am down about 140 pounds from a high weight of 327 pounds.
I am 29 years old (June 4th) and am married to a great guy, Chris. We've been married just over 4 years (April 16th).We don't have any kids yet - here's that story in a nutshell too. Pre-op I had PCOS and was told children wouldn't be a possibility. This was a motivating factor in my having the surgery. Well - I got pregnant in April 2009, but unfortunately had a miscarriage (TOTALLY un-WLS related!) in June. I'll be back on the "trying" wagon soon enough.
I am a graphic designer, inside sales, LED knowledge base/purchasing and project manager for a sign company and despite crazy days love what I do!
Once a month I host a cooking class / support group in my home to show that almost anything can be made WLS friendly (and tasty!!). I have a passion for cooking and look forward to this day as soon as the last one is over. If you need helping finding a recipe or wanting something that you think is off limits - shoot me a PM or e-mail ([email protected])

PS - this surgery has not only changed my life by making it physically healthier and better but has brought me the most amazing friendships along the way - Who would have thought having your insides medically altered could bring you so much!

I am Jodi, Jo or Jojo. It's doesn't matter to me. I am *almost* 33 (booo!). I had my surgery in September of 2004 at Penn State Hershey Med Center with Dr. Shope. I had the Lap RNY. I lost 110 pounds pre pregnancy. I am working on those last 10 pounds since having baby to get back to my goal weight.
I am a mom of 4! I had 2 pre-op pregnancies, 3 post-op pregnancies. (lost my son Jesse mid-pregnancy) My kids keep me busy. They are 11, 9, 2 and 3 months.
I work full time for Nephrologists. (Kidney docs) I love my job and the doc I work for. I begin school this fall to get my RN. So my life is BUSY!
I am divorced. Was married for 10 years. I am now happily in a relationship for almost 3 years. Not re-married.....yet. But ya never know! LOL He races and so does my 9 year old. So between them racing and spending free time watching races, alot of our spring/summer is at dirt tracks!
We are also HUGE NFL fans. Specifically the EAGLES. We go to training camp each year, and usually go to at least 2 games.
Other than that the only other thing about me is that I am a YARD SALE/FLEA MARKET/THRIFT SHOP junkie. I am a sucker for a good deal and almost all of my clothes, and the kids' are awesome finds at one of the above. And luckily, the kids love it too, so we go searching together for stuff.
That's it........nothing too exciting! LOL

I'm Chanel -- 37 years old as of March 14th. I was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, NY which is outside of NYC (about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes north).
I moved to PA in 2001 for love (his name is Frank) and got a great job in the process as well. Frank and I have been together for 7 1/2 years and are having a non-wedding (long story) on New Year's Eve this year. We don't have any children and are not planning on having any.
He was transferred to Florida about 3 years ago for work, so I am looking to relocate as soon as I can find something. I just started looking for a new job about 2 months ago. Right now we see each other about twice a month--- we have destination meetings to places neither of us has been which has been awesome.
I work in Higher Education as an administrator--- have done everything from residence life to admissions and financial aid and am now the Director of Multicultural Life. In my spare time (when I should be working on my dissertation) I love to read, go for walks, sing and am a coffee junkie-- so sit have a cup and converse.
Let's see... I am down about 103 pounds from a high of 298 and had gastric bypass on 12/26/2008. Prior to the surgery I did not have any health problems and now I am 100% on the road to a healthier more fulfilled life!

Hello my name is Lisa and I am an OH aholic... oh wait, that's not what we were doing is it? LOL!!
Anyway, my name really is Lisa, I'm 37 (as of Wednesday) and I live in Whitehall, PA--about 20 mins or so from Liz and about 10 mins from Dorney Park. I had my surgery on 2/23/09, so I am just under 5 months post op.. REALLY!? 5 months already?!?!? Dr. Sawyna was my surgeon and it was done at Westfield Hospital in Allentown. I started out with my heaviest weight being 244. The last time I weighed myself I was 178. So, that's 66 lbs!! WOO HOO!! I also seem to remember weighing 191 in high school so that means I weigh less than I did then. 20 YEAR REUNION IS NEXT YEAR.... SOOOO looking forward to it!
I am in the process of a divorce and have a 10( going on 25 or 2) year old daughter. I just moved to Whitehall from Bethlehem (MUSIKFEST, EAGLES TRAINING CAMP) at the beginning of April. I have never been happier in my life!!!!
I go to the gym at least 4 days a week, one of them being one on one with a personal trainer (go ahead, I know someone will say something about that, but I'm an
