****Wednesday Roll Call****
today has me working camp schedule. After work, I need to go grocery shopping for the synagogue for the lunch for Saturday. I would like to go to the hospital to see my dad, but I don't know if he wants Siehara to see him like he is, so I will have to check in with him to see what he says.
Then, I will head to the gym for either my own workout or body pump depending on what time it is.
That's all folks!
Pretty busy day planned. Yesterday was my newphew's 21st birthday and, since I don't drink and didn't go out with him last night, we're going to do lunch this afternoon. After that it's up to the rehab facility to visit my mother. She's getting released this Sunday, but I'm not sure whether that's because she's ready or if it's because that will be day 20 at rehab - the limit her insurance will cover. I'm guessing it's because of the insurance. Anyway, she's coming to stay at my sister's (where I currently live) when she gets out, so she'll have plenty of help - especially since it's summer vacationa and both my nephews are also home during the day.
Anyway, after visiting her I believe I'll be heading to Langhorne tonight to FINALLY get to go to my first Barix meeting in about a year. I really, really need it considering my life is completely flipped upside down. About the only thing I have control of is my exercise (which I always have). Getting about 25 miles a day on my bike, 4-5 days a week. But my eating choices are horrible and I haven't taken a vitamin in about a year - what a coinkydink, probably since my last Barix meeting.
"No matter how hard life may get, no matter how many curveballs you are thrown, keep in mind, if you want to succeed - QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION"!!!
Now go take your damn vitamins - you know better!!! Good job on the bike, tho.
I had an awful night sleep last night, which makes for a long day today. I should be ready to walk out the door for work right now and haven't even started to get ready yet.
I am looking forward to the weekend. I am going down to philly to viist my mother. I dont' see her enough. She is a snowbird and spends part of the year in florida.
Oh well, at least it is a pay week. Kind of makes the work week more bearable....lol
Have a great hump day all.
:-)
Today I am doing a whole lot of nothing ~ sitting by the pool, taking my niece's to see the Harry Potter movie and then going to my cousin's baseball game somewhere in centeral Jersey.
I have an appointmnet with Dr. Brader tomorrow because my port area was red, itchy and sticking out on Saturday. It looks better now - just feels like someone is stabbing me. That's not good I am sure but I am confident he will know what to do.
Pam - hope Brian feels better and you get some rest.
Nicole - have a safe and relaxing trip!
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Same old thing today.....work all day and then work tonight at the Doc's. Boring.......
Looking forward to the weekend. I think my honey and I are going to head down to the shore either Saturday afternoon and stay overnight til Sunday or just go Sunday for the day. Either way, I'll take it. I haven't been to the shore in forever.
Hope everyone has a super day !

Morning everyone - this July has to be one of the most beautiful months we've had in a long time - I'm loving it!! Its warm but not humid and I'm getting a whole lot of walking and bike riding time in - I go outside after dinner and usually don't get back into the house for the night until 9:00 - then the buggies start driving me indoors.
I'm at work for the day - my mom has her 2nd chemo treatment this afternoon - our neighbor is taking her to the hospital and we'll pick her up on the way home. I offer to go with her while she's getting the treatment but she won't hear of it - says I'll be bored and she doesn't want me sitting there staring at her while she's all hooked up. She'll probably be knocked out tonight so she'll go home and head to bed - after we pick her up we have to pick the dog up from doggy daycare and then I'll drop everybody off at home and head to Curves.
Other than that a very quiet day around here - lots of people out traveling or on vacation.
Get outside and enjoy this fantastic weather if you can while we're having it - I know I am!!
Just got done my hour on the treadmill....not much on tap for today. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the lovely birthday wishes they left meon FaceBook...I feel loved!!!!!

It is actually going to be a quiet day--hubby is at work and then he has school tonight so we will celebrate my birthday over the weekend with dinner or something.....I am not sure what he has planned it is a surprise!!!
So today I think I will just sit outside and read a book and relax...enjoy the peace and quiet!!!
Have a great day everyone!!!!!!
Much luv!!
