****Wednesday Roll Call****
Good morning everyone,
Today's a rough day, even though it's only started. My mom was in a pissy mood, hubby was grumpy, and that was even before I left the house. One of my best friends is nursing her husband who is dying of cancer and was told by the hospice people yesterday basically that the end is very near and she shouldn't be making any plans for the next couple of weeks at the outside. So I'm having either lunch or dinner with her today before heading to the Barix meeting tonight. I feel so horrible for her - they're both my age (in their 40s) and have 2 young sons (11 and 13). This is happening to TOO MANY people. In the last 3 years, I've lost 4 young (ages 30 - 50) friends to cancer and it just sucks.
And this is HOPEFULLY my last day at work before vacation, if I can get done what I have to. Otherwise, I'll be in here tomorrow, which i really don't want to be. And i'm feeling super-stressed because I don't have all the pieces done for the Rosen show yet, and that's only 4 days after I get back from vacation. Sigh.
So it's not shaping up to be the most positive day I've had in a while. Just plugging away, keeping my head down and my blinkers on, trying to stay focused.

Thanks for the encouragement! It's really needed today.
We're heading to florida - it will be BRUTALLY hot, i'm afraid. I don't like it there at this time of the year, but we're doing a school visit for Becky and this is when they are having their open house. So we'll do the school visit (in orlando), a couple of Disney days, and then drive down to Ft. Myers Beach for the rest of the week. So a nice mixture of frantic fun and relaxation ;-).
