A big hello from Whitehall, PA

Hey - a fellow whitehall-er ... My mom lives by sams club and my wife and I live behind the old LV Dairy.  that drive up and down macarthur road is tough while on the liquid diet ... so many restaurants on that road - I hadn't noticed over the past 20 years !

I live right down Mickley Road in Helfrich Springs.  We are neighbors!!!!

All the crap on MacArthur Rd is not even worthy of being called food. LOL!! It's all garbage.  I turn around in Taco Bell almost every day since you can't make a left onto Mickley from MacArthur and I am too lazy to drive a few extra feet for the official turn around.  It doesn't even phase me anymore.  It's all garbage!!!  

Well I am the Pam the Liz is talking about!  She already posted about Aug. cooking class at her house - it is Aug 29th from noon till ?? (generally about 4ish)  I live in Forks township in Easton...however I work in Allentown at LVH Cedar Crest ER, so I'm there 3 days (sometimes 4 days) a week.

I'm not a lap bander...but there a few of the banders on here!

As far as your pre op liquid diet and finding ones you like - make sure you keep an open mind AFTER surgery...because you will find ones that you liked before hand you won't like afterwards!

I've heard that about the taste change .... thanks for the reminder though ... does that mean I won't like that taste of Pizza or Cheeesteaks ? LOL (just a flashback) ... My mom is a frequent flyer at the LVH ER ... we've probably crossed paths a few times I am sure ... Thanks for the welcome

I was originally going through LVH but had a bit of a HIPPA issue regarding a fellow group member so I switched to Sacred Heart ...  thanks for the well wishes ...
