Friday Exercise

Good Morning Shilpa. Hope you don't mind if I start the thread this morning.

Today, for me, will be an outdoor 2 to 3 mile run and kayaking this evening.

What are you doing to move today?

I don't know if I'll have time to sneak anything in today -work this morning - then a lot of running around w/my mom this afternoon - chemo treatment, eye doctor, jeweler. Then home and meeting friends for dinner at 5:30. Hopefully at least get a little bike ride in after dinner if we don't get home too late.

Revised work-out notice - I just spent 30 minutes in our massive file room re-filing 10 boxes of huge files that were returned from a law firm - lots of lifting, bending, stretching and all that physical kind of stuff - so at least I got a work-out in that way!!

Don't be silly of course you can start this thread. I did my hour on the Elliptical and am walking for 45 minutes on my lunch but that is it for me today.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I too might not have time to make it to the gym today...

I have a busy day at the office and then alot of running around after work.  Then I have to be at my church for a prayer meeting/members meeting and then I finally make it home by 8 or 8:30 this evening...but Im going to TRY to make it to the gym tomorrow before they close but I AGAIN have a busy day on Saturday with my first meeting starting at 9 AM and Im running all day...

But I did work out 3 days this week consistantly...So I feel good about that.

not sure if I'll get anything in either.  I was thinking about heading over to the pool after I pick Siehara up and maybe I can get in some laps or at least walk back and forth in the water.  I had a great workout the last 2 days so if I don't get anything in today, I won't feel too bad.

I was 'thinking' of running outside today @ lunch....however, need to go home early today so it might be hard to get in my standard 40+ min run....

I'm do for strength training today so I might do a lower body workout and then a quick treadmill run for 5 minutes @ 7MPH again....  we'll see, busy busy busy....

logging off now - gotta do 'real work'

No "real" exercise for me today..although I did spend the morning stripping bedding, doing wash, washing the floors, emptying the dishwasher and refilling it etc etc etc so I have been moving around.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I have yet to get into the groove with excercise...I am almost 6 weeks out and
feel pretty healed. 

I just need to get motivated, and get moving.  I do walk, and we;ve hiked on the
weekends and we're going swimming tomorrow, but I need a regular routine.
