One of my favorite places to go. It's about 45- 60 minutes from me, depending on traffic.  I LOVE Baltimore. It's beautiful at the harbor and the aquarium is awesome. Take lots of pics. They even have "Nemo" there which totally excited Riley! I hope it's a beautiful day for you. You will have a great time.

I have been to the aquarium and really enjoyed it.  I am looking forward to sharing it with Siehara.  She will like Nemo, even though she's 10.  I say this with confidence because EVERY time we are in a pet store looking at fish, she points out the Nemo's and Dori's and everyone else in the tank in the movie.

I am hoping the weather holds up for the rest of the day and the walking we will do.  Any suggestions for restaurants that have good choices for us? I would love to be able to have some crab, if possible.  Can't go to Baltimore without having crabs!

I really like the Rusty Scupper. Here's what thier lunch menu looks like.

Of course thier is always Phillips.

And Houlihan's. Located at Pier 4, Inner harbor. http://www.houlihans.com/menus/155/nooner.pdf

Pretty much any of the places have a ton of Crab dishes. I mostly prefer Crab Imperial. Alot of the restaurants will have many Crab appetizers you can order instead of a dinner so you don't have to pay for sides you wont eat. the last thing you want to do is throw food out, or carry around leftovers all day. So I suggest checking out appetizers first to see if you find something you like.

Have fun!

Thanks, I will check out these places!

I pretty much always order from the appetizer menu lately for exactly the reason of having to pay for sides and leftovers.  I will have a cooler with me, but still don't want to take up room in it carrying around leftovers. It will be more for water and a protein bar or two, plus a couple of snacks for Siehara so she is not constantly begging me for something.

The inner harbor is FABULOUS!!  Hubby and I went last year for a long weekend!

As far as eating is concerned, almost ALL of the restaurants in the inner harbor have some sort of crab on the menu and you can find decent stuff to eat as far as our restrictions are concerned.  You'll have leftovers, that's for sure!

We went to the Rusty Scupper for brunch on the sunday we were there and it was WONDERFUL.  Can't say about their "regular" meals are like, though.  And, it's right on the water (well, all of them are, but the Rusty Scupper REALLY is) so the views are great, too.

Have a GREAT time!

Pam

Hi all!

I am chipper now that I am sipping on my coffee. I am working till 3:30, then picking kiddos up. I think we are going to have a nice evening at home, playing some board games and hanging out.

Tomorrow night Johnny and I are taking the older boys to see the York Revolution. (Basebell team). My mom sings in a chior and they are doing the national anthem for the game tomorrow. I think we will have a great time even though none of us are really baseball fans. They are having firework afterwards. So they are excited, and we are excited to do something with just the big kids.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! It's friday so no matter what........you have that to smile about!

Good morning all -
I'm off today !  I'll spend the morning straightening up around the house and then a hair appt at 12:30.

In between I'll wait for my mechanic to call and let me know how much it's going to be to inspect my car.  It's been a while since I have needed anything done to it and I'm thinking they may tell me that I need brakes...ughhh

Then it's off to meet my best friend for dinner and catch up.

Hope everyone has a super day.

Lisa

Morning Heather and everybody - its finally Friday! These full weeks are killing me!! LOL!

I'm only working 1/2 day today (okay, so its not really a full week) - anyway, meeting some old work friends for lunch out here in KOP at Champps - figured I'd take a 1/2 day so we can hang out for a while and gab, gab, gab. After that I'm off to Costco for some things then home to unload.

After that its anybody's guess - might ride my recumbant bike and make it 5 straight days that I had a 'formal' work-out! Definitely in for walking the dog tonight and hopefully a bicycle ride - maybe I'll even get my hubby to go along tonight.

I have to admit that thru Curves and riding my bikes that I am losing inches and things aren't quite as saggy and loose as they had been - I know there are areas that no amount of exercise is going to tighten up, but if it helps some of them I'm a happy girl.

Weekend is going to be quiet - just doing things around the house. Call me Miss Excitement.
