OT Uggs Boots

To those of us who love the Ugg Boots I have some sad news and you may even laugh at this one.  I found a site on-line that sold them for $86.00 and they were the tall ones in a sand color. Imagine my dismay when they were shipped from China!  Yep China!  Then I found my short boots that I bought 2 years ago and looked inside of them and yep made in China!  I could have sworn that these boots are suppose to be made in Austrailia?  Duh! Boing? Am I nuts or what? Aren't these suppose to be an Austrialian product? Look inside of your boots and tell me what you find!  I know this is off the topic but I am so dissapointed at the image I had of them. I mean WTF?  All that money for boots made in China?

Hi.....my name is Jodi. And I am an Ugg's addict!

And.....I will be checking my tags when I get home. Never looked. Just assumed the same as you. I love them so much. They are SUPER comfy and they keep my frozen toes so warm all winter! LOL

Aww that is a shame especially for the price you have to pay for the boots.

I personally do not have real UGGs but have what I refer to as FUGGs (a.k.a.  Fake UGGs) which are probably made in china..but they are comfy and were cheap!!! But I would love a "real" pair!!!!

I totally understand you being upset - my daughter wanted the exact boots of which you speak for Christmas, so I sprung for them and sadly not at $86!! They were quite a bit more and when I got them I felt the same way - MADE IN CHINA?? Are they freaking kidding me?? But I also learned this about Uggs...

The materials are all handmade in the US and Australia and then shipped to China for assembly - so while they say they're 'made' in China technically they're just put together in China.

For the life of me I cannot remember who told me that but it was a very reliable source. Maybe you can contact Uggs to either verify or tell me I'm full of sh*t - LOL - but anyway it made me feel a tad bit better knowing I wasn't paying all that money for those stinking things just to have them 'Made in China'...

Personally I don't care if they were made in Cawabunga and cost $1000 they are comfy I love them and will keep on wearing them!

I love them my only draw back at the moment is my feet shrunk so I have two pair a size too big but could care less I will wear them!

the thriftiness in me wants to let you know that if they become to floppy to wear, I may be the right size for them!  LMAO!

I too... my Uggs!

Well mine our a size 10 and I need to go to a 9 ...I seem to get a new pair each year to add to my collection.  They are just so comfy I live in them all winter long but I am not one to weat them once the wear gets warm. This summer I have been a fan of the fit flops and years past a Birkenstock fan ....
