Where I've been
Pam, I'm so sorry you're going through this! I understand what you're going through---my brother is an alcoholic and has been on prescription meds for anxiety for years. No psych hospitalizations for him, but lots of crises anyway. It's not easy to deal with. Be sure to take care of yourself during this time!!!

Thanks guys, your words and support as always mean the world to us right now.
I admit my eating is not up to par...but at the very least I did purchase protein shakes and have had one if not two a day at work...so I KNOW I'm hitting protein goals. Going way over board on carbs most nights - in the form of saltine crackers - but I'm not punishing myself for that right now. And I'm continuing taking my vitamins and added some extra C and Zinc just in case. At the very least I know my protein goals are up to par and vitamin levels are up to par.
And as "silly" as this may sound...apparantly my brother is still "up and about" because i've seen him playing mafia wars on FB. Probably means he's walling himself up in the house...but he doesn't have a computer in his room nor a phone that has the internet...which means he's down stairs in "general population" at least at some point during a 24 hour period.
thanks again, we really appreciate it!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I am sorry to hear this Pam. Seems like you are always dealing with some tough situations. You are in my thoughts.

Pam so sorry to hear that you have been going through all this. I know the toll it can take, so make sure that you are dealing with your feelings and emotions about all of it. My son is pretty severe Bi Polar and we have had some tough times with him, and I know the kind of worry that it causes. He has been stable for about five years now for the most part but I always feel like I am waiting for the "other shoe to drop" so to speak. Hang in there and know that prayers and love are being sent your way. Belinda
