Today is a nice simple day for me - think that I am getting a sinus infection - blah! Working until 4, unless I Decide to leave early! lol Then home! Plain and SImple :)

Have you ever felt like you are on a fast ride and can't get off?  That's the way I feel right now.  Even though some rides are fun, this one is getting not so fun any more.  I know I am being cryptic but.... this is a public forum.

My entire life feels that way daily. So I completely understand. Even at short intervals when I finally think, "this ride is pretty fun", something ELSE happens that makes me scared or beg to get off. Life has a way of taking us on rides like that. the only thing I try and do is to hold on tight, close my eyes when I have to, scream if I have to, but also enjoy the fact that I even have a ride to be on.

(((HUGS))) to you. Hope things hang in there for you and that the ride turns into a nice scenic "monorail" ride you can relax and enjoy.

I'm baaaack... wow that was tough being away from the computer for a day.  Even my cellphone didn't have a signal in the training room I was in.  No technology for 8 hours??!?!?!   I was most upset about my cell, though, because of my dad.  But, everything turned out ok.   The training went well and I had a couple of WOW's from people who hadn't seen me since May.

My boss couldn't stop staring at me. She apologized a thousand times for staring but just kept saying that she couldn't get over how much different and great I looked!  My former boss came over while I was talking to her and was just standing there (she saw me from behind).  She must have mouthed to my boss "who is that" because my boss said "It's Lisa Hunt".  Then, I turned around and her jaw dropped. So, that made my day.

Today, has me working 7-3:30.  After work, it's Siehara's first day of jazz class.  She's excited to start.  I'm excited for her to get some exercise and be with her friends! After jazz, I need to go to my choir director's house and pick up some size 12 clothes that she has shrunk out of and is giving to me.  I can't wait to get them, too!! SHOPPING!!!

Then, it's BINGO season again!! It will be nice to get out of the house for the night!

feel better.. this wet weather sux for sinuses

Hope you feel better Liz!  My allergies have been killing me.  Have you ever tried using a Netti Pot?  I swear by mine.  It is kind of gross when the fluid comes out of your nose but it really helps.

Today I will be hanging out with the kiddos from 8:45 - 3:45 and then I am attempting my first kickboxing class at 6:15.

the netti pot scares me! lol I use those vicks tablets you put in the shower - they seem to help a lot. IT is just this time of the year - and now it being so wet doesn't help.
