Thursday Roll Call!
Morning!
I have a doctors appointment this morning to check my non-existent thyroid....or to make sure it is still non-existent I guess. I will be hanging around home after that....going in late to work tonight and making it a late night there.
My two week vacation starts as of 3:30 tomorrow! ahhhhh.............

Enjoy that vacation! You look fabulous. I love your hair. I haven't seen you in person for such a long time. Maybe I'll make the next support group meeting. I've been feeling like I need more support lately.
Nothing new going on here. Working today as usual, going home, helping kids with homework, making dinner, cleaning house and going to sleep. Life is relaxing and good.

WLS 5/31/07. Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
Good Morning all!
My 3 nights of classes are done for the week! Yay! However, I still have lots of school things to do so it's not a complete relief but that's OK. I am enjoying school, doing well and am feeling good about it all.
I have a paper due on Tuesday, so I am going to work on it between patients today. It's "done", buy as I edit it, I keep changing sentences around and re-wording it. so hopefully I will have my final draft by lunch so I can just type it up!
I leave work at 1:30 today to head to my PCP to go over a bunch of labs that I had complained about weeks ago. So I will see where I stand with all of that. then at 4 I have an appt with an advisor at York College to go over what classes I need to take before next fall so I can apply there for the major I want.
After that, me and family will head to walmart to get baby necessities, and LOTS of totes. We are moving next month and so we will be packing and organizing admist our busy schedules.
Hope everyone has a great day.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
No! LOL. Just 5 miles from where I am now.
Honestly, Johnny's sister has a HUGE house. And it's just her and her hubby. Her basement is finished with a large livingroom, bedroom, full bath. Plus the upstairs. Her and her hubby are moving downstairs, and we are moving upstairs.
His sister is THE BEST. She is the one who watches the kiddos while we work. And I just love her. And so to make it possible for me to quit work, and pursue school full time, she invited us to come live there.
I can't say what a HUGE deal this is to me. Johnny and I aren't married (yet).....but I am still important to his family and the fact that she offered this and is sacraficing her home to help fulfill my school dreams means so much.
I will definately be eternal grateful to her. Plus, my kids are super psyched to be able to live with "Aunt Vivie". She spoils them!

Wow, Jo - that's a GREAT opportunity and wonderful that you have such great support! I didn't know you had the option to pursue school full time and not work - with someone who already watches the kids to begin with! Yay!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

This all came about in the last 2 weeks. We were mentioning about resighning our lease in Oct. she said NO WAY! So she brought it up, we talked and talked about it for a week and decided it would be best for all of us. His sister lost her job 3 months ago, so it will help them too. We can pay utilities and save on rent. they can worry about mortgage and not utilities.
I haven't even told work yet. But I plan on staying until christmas, and that's it. I am so excited. Especially since I am going to York today about some things.
