Today is 4 years for the Shauna
Four years ago today I met someone who has grown to become quite special in my own life but also in the lives' of so many of you. Today September 21 marks the 4 year surgiversary of Shauna Dhoble. She's been a dynamo since hitting the Obesity Help PA board as many years ago offering replies and posts of distinction, encouragement always, major support always, the 1st to offer Harleysville support group meetings where many of us 1st met, leading us at Barix support meetings, the founder and president of the PA Pilgrimage, a true and loyal friend to so many of us and my BFF.
Won't you all join me today in congratulating and celebrating this milestone event of the Shauna.
Happy 4 year Shauna! You are DA BOMB and you are doin' GREAT!
Love,
DenDen

Congratulations on four great years Shauna.
You were the first person from this great group that I ever talked to, when I originally contacted you about making the trip to the Chambersburg Pilgrimage.
Since then, you've been a wonderful friend and support in my life, and in the lives of many, many others.
To four and four and many more!

Shauna,
I know that I haven't know you all that long, but you are a true inspiration to me. I look at where you've gotten, both mentally and physically, and am in awe. I appreciate the support, insight, and unswerving honesty you've shown in every interaction we've had. Your willingness to say, in the very first Sat support group I attended, that "no matter how much we may be unwilling to hear it, we're ALL food addicts" changed my life and my outlook on my weight forever. The book you recommended (Anatomy of a Food Addiction) further opened my eyes... I know it's not easy to stand in front of a group of people and say something that could be so controversial, but you did, and I thank you for it.
You're an amazing person - so strong and beautiful, inside and out.
Thank you so much for your support and inspiration.
