PA exercise challenge and Tuesday Exercise Thread
Good Morning Teresa,
I am so glad you posted this. I have been busy and been throwing myself a little pity party but want you to know that I have not missed a single work out even when I was 18 weeks pregnant. I just took last monday and tuesday off when I had the D&E (Dr's orders) but got on my Elliptical on Wednesday. I love to eat too much not to excercise. That has always been my motto and always will be. I have made excercising as routine as brushing my teeth. I am up for your challenge and will shed the 15lbs that I had gained during my pregnancy by December.

Teresa,
Way to go! Important to throw it out there and motivate people!
Today's plan is to do a cardio kickboxing class after work. Should be fun - first time I've done that. UNfortunately - I'm going to miss Zumba tomorrow night (Lesley, I see your pout and raise you one) because of a board meeting. Sigh. But I'll be doing my usual workout tomorrow morning before work if I can move any part of my body after the kickboxing tonight. :-)
My goal is 5 - 6 days in the gym. Right now, I'm doing 4 - 5. I'm also working on developing ways to vary things more in the gym to keep them more effective. So, for example, yesterday's workout on the treadmill was completely different than I usually do - focused on keeping heart rate at a steady 118 by varying incline and pace, instead of my "usual" focus on improving time for 2 or 3 miles. And boy, my legs still feel it today!

Well this should be a good way for me to get my act together. I haven"t done much formal working out since soccer started. I do run with the boys but I really don"t count that. But for all it"s worth that will be my sole exercise today
1 hour and 45 min soccer pratice were 45-55 minutes I'll be doing some type of running.
Do to the situation at home I have not made it to the gym for a week. As I posted before I am going back tomorrow. I will do my stretching and toning classes on MWF plus the treadmill for at least 30 minutes. I am also going to start swimming on the days in between. I will make NO excuses. That is my promise to me.

Yesterday - spent 2 hours at the gym, one for an aerobics class, and the 2nd hour in the pool.
Today I'll be lucky to get in a 20 minute walk. Thurs. and Fri. are crazy work days for me, but I'll try to get out and about those days as well, at least to take a good walk.
Saturday, it's back to the gym.
