Wow I am up early I am pet sitting Chloe a adorable english ****er spaniel and I feel like Heather is an infant again only I don't have to change diapers. We had an emergency situation and I ended up with Chloe for a few days and she's a cutie pie and her parents are picking her up on saturday afternoon. I am hoping the weather holds out as I want to wash my truck today if not I guess its cleaning and looking for a job on the internet. I hope everyone is doing well and have a great day.

Good Morning Linda & PA:

I'm up early again. Can't seem to be able to sleep past 5:30 since having surgery hum wonder what that's all about.

Today I'll be continuing with my full liquid phase of this journey. Yesterday I had to skip a few of the cream soup portions and just have water or decaf tea as the "food" had me completely full.

I'll also be either getting out for a walk this morning or using the treadmill if it starts to rain before I get out of the house.

I have my first doc appt this afternoon.

Somewhere in this day I have to read chapter's 1 of two more books in preparation for my class that begins tomorrow night.

My grade still has not been posted for the project I completed prior to surgery - I hope the Prof posts it soon.....

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All

I am coming down with a head cold of some sorts and dragging patootey - barely made it out of bed this morning, just wanted to go back to sleep! So today's schedule is a simple one - work as long as I hold out - home - dinner - bed.

Hi all,

I am doing ok.  I feel like I am in quick sand though and there is no one to pull me out.  However, I see steps or a branch so close that if I could just put a little effort in, I can grab on.  I know that sounds cryptic.  Have you ever wished you were somewhere else but know you are where you are supposed to be?  I find that really unsettling sometimes.  It's like I KNOW what to do.  I KNOW how to do it, and I KNOW I need to do it, but I don't.

I have a sick pup.  I will be taking her to the vet today and that's a joke.  These country vets seem so ill equiped to hand very much.  I know there are lots of advantages living in a very small town but sometimes I don't like it at all.

Ok I will shut up now.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Paula, hope your pup gets better. I understand the small town vet thing. We ended up taking Johnny's boxer to Baltimore for surgery because the vets around here couldn't help her. It was frustrating to have to do that but we needed her taken care of.

Good Morning all.........

This is a ROUGH wednesday morning for me. Feeling a little bummed and out of sorts today. Got another assignment last night and just dread doing it. But I will, and I will smile while doing it.

today has me at wor****il 3:30 as usual. Off to get kiddos, make supper and go to class. Another busy day. By wednesday, I am beat!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Today finds me getting more projects at work and figuring out times i can take small walks just to get out of my office.  I need to remember not to stay in here all day!!!

I got my grades from my classes and aced them both.  Very happy about that because one of them I was struggling for a B and in the end pulled an A.  Woot.

toddler seems to really enjoy our time at the YMCA.  i get to go do some exercise and he gets to run, jump and play.  How great is that.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Happy Hump Day everyone!

Made it through the night without any alarms.. thank goodness.

Went to bed last night with the start of a sore throat. Woke up with the same sore throat and a little bit of drippy stuff running down.. ugh.  I'll have to find something to take to nip this before it gets worse.  I'm drinking decaf tea right now--constant comment--yummmm.. guess I'll be getting all my liquids in today just through tea.. LOL

Today, I got up early and did an hour of OT for work.  Will work til at least 3:30, maybe a bit later.  5:00 is Rocco time at the gym.  Yesterday when I went in, he and his 4:00 client were sitting around talking.  They were still sitting around when I got done with my workout an hour later.  He blamed himself for being a bad influence on her.. uh yeah.. LOL.. he won't get away with that with me.  I NEED my workout and I'm paying for it, so I'll be damned if I'm going to sit around and talk during my training time.  That's on her and he still got paid, so whatever. I just laughed at them and called them both slackers to their faces.. we've joked about other things, so I knew neither of them would get offended.

Tonight, Siehara has an appointment with the psychiatrist.  Things have been going relatively well, knock on wood.

That's it for me.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi all - I have been so crazy in the mornings that I have not been able to get on here as of late!  (I bet you are all just THRILLED to have me back! :) HAHAHAHA!)

Today I will be working until 3:15 - then head home to what was supposed to be a hair appointment for my oldest and youngest, but that was cancelled - YAY!  So it looks like I have a free evening at home.  My nails are in depserate need of some attention - so I think I may do that!  Then I get to hang out with my kids.  I think that will be good - one can hope!

Also, during the day today, I have to head over to my middle one's school for a 504 plan meeting - this is a behavior plan to work with her and her special needs.  So - food may be an issue as I will be out during my lunch and prep time.  I brought a protein drink to have and then turkey and cheese roll ups with Hummus to help me get through the afternoon - I can munch on that this afternoon even while teaching if I have to - if not, I will have a meal as soon as I get home from school.  I also have my cheese sticks and protein bars if I can't find any time to actually have some other protein in a normal setting.  Fortunately, these days are few and far between, so I am happy to report that being back on a normal schedule has aided my eating habits.

I have missed you all these last few days and I am happy to be back!  Have a great Wednesday!

Morning!

I almost feel like a new post op...because I'll be drowning myself in water over the next day or so.  Woke up FINE last night...during the early portion of work I noticed I started needing to pee frequently...and then had some urinary symptoms...so I "dipped" my urine (IE: tested it in the ER for a UTI) and it came back with a RAGING one.  The docs gave me meds but warned me they thought it was more of a wide spread kidney infection based on my urine and not a "simple" UTI.  Technically they wanted me to sign in as a patient to do further testing...but we were to busy and I convinced them to start me on meds and if it got worse, I would come in on my NON work hours and get fully checked out and probably need IV antibiotics (not thinking for a single second mind you it would actually get worse)

Until at about 6am when I started with left flank pain.  So...took my antibiotics have had 3 Liters of water since last night..Brian is out now getting me more water.  Strict instructions to drown myself and if at any time the pain becomes worse and/or more importantly I develop a fever of any sorts....I am to be treated in the ER and possibly admitted for "pylonephritis".

So that's my day....drinking drinking drinking....and watching symptoms.  And yes, I promise to go if it gets worse.  I know what happens when it does and people leave it untreated.  Not fun, nor easy to treat.

Pam
