Update on Beth M

Ok got a text from beth she is done and in her room and on some " good drugs" her words LOL.
Seems like things went well. I will call her later this afternoon.

Thanks for the update!  Glad she is able to make jokes.

Thanks Nicole....were you able to talk with her later inthe day?...She is obviously in great hands.  I have been out off touch for a bit.  I actually went to the website this evening to find out if Beth was going to the Support meeting tomorrow evening at LGH.  I knew she was having some trouble but was surprised to read your post.  BETH...you are in my thoughts and prayers...Take Care and hope to hear from you soon!

hi i talked with her she is doing very well. she was excited to be able to eat dinner LOL
Dr would have let her go today if she wanted but she opted to stay over due to the fact that she would have been in a hotel room with no care. she will leave tomorrow

I am home.

I am in more pain than I thought - but still on good drugs.

The nursing staff at LGH were just awesome, as was Dr. Brader. 

I have a follow up in two weeks and can start running again in two weeks.

Nicole - I can't seriously thank you for taking the time to come over before surgery.  I was a nervous wreck and there you were.  Thank you.

You are so welcome. It was obvious you were nervous but you had a great sense of humor about it, I am glad you are home. take your meds and rest
