keeping fingers crossed
Need you to help get me through the next few days. Had a ultrasound of my gall bladder. Dr just got results and one of the ducts is enlarged. (possibly from a stone in it) So now I need a "MRCP", and it has to be scheduled at my local hospital, not the hospital that I am going to have surgery at. (because of insurance) I have a call into the MRI testing area of hospital, and am waiting for a call back. They never gave me a script for this, so it will have to be faxed, and the program coordinator told me to tell them it is an emergency. Do you think these people will hate me or what? The good news is I got the final clearance from the Cardio Dr last nite. Went to support group meeting last nite, which was a help. So if you could cross your fingers, swing a chicken, or say a prayer for me to be able to get this done quickly, or I will lose my surgery spot on Monday. I am not at panic stage, but a bit nervous.
Thanks Ena
Thanks Ena
They were supposed to remove my gallbladder, but if it turns out to be a stone in the duct, they will have to do that as a separate operation at another time. I don't get it, but I know that they know what they are doing.
Thanks for the crossed fingers. I got an appointment to have the procedure done tomorrow nite at 5:30, here's hoping.

Ena you are gonna be fine it looks like you are going to Jefferson? They had an article about your Dr in the Bucks Co. Courier and had some great things to say about him and Jefferson is a great hospital. I was suppose to have my left shoulder operated on tomorrow and I did not get the cardio clearance so off to a cardio on monday I go. Its just one more hoop to jump and we will get there. As far as these people hating you I doubt it to them I am sure you won't be the first one to be declared an emergency and won't be the last one. Hang in there I will say a prayer for you. Better they were on top of things and found the issue before going into the OR. My fingers and toes are crossed for you sweetie.
