Good Morning All,
Had about 2" here overnite.  The roads and other hard surfaces are slush, and need to be cleared, they are sure to freeze and then be really bad, as we are supposed to get at least 6" more inches sometime today.  The baby is taking a nap with Mommy, so I am free for about 2 hours, then playing and entertaining her for about 2 hours.  No going out for me today.  Maybe finish my Christmas cards so they get in the mail on Monday.  Boring day for me today.  Have a good day all, stay warm and safe.

well it's nearly noon here and not a flake has fallen! I am hoping that it stays that way even though I don't plan on leaving the house until MOnday morning for work.

I ran out early this morning to get a few things at Kmart, a quick run to Giant for some things I forgot and a stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee. Now I am home, in my sweats and trying to get stuff done.

No real plans for today or tomorrow - cleaning, oraganizing and prepping for the crowd coming over on Christmas Eve. THere isn't even much that I can cook in prep, a few things but I will do them tomorrow.

Well have a good day all and be safe if you do go out!

Good morning!

Because I apparently enjoy the crazy, I actually woke up at 5:30 this morning, and got to Shoprite when they opened at 6:00.  The snow had just started here, so it was good timing.  The place was MOBBED even at that hour with people buying up their milk and bread -- I guess the snow makes everyone want French toast?  LOL!  I was so thankful that they have an in-store Dunkin' Donuts, so I was able to sip some coffee as I navigated the busy aisles.

Once I got home, I put my jim-jams back on, snoozed a little, and now I'm cozied up on the couch with my Snuggie.  I will try to be a good girl and at least make an effort to go to the gym, but I may have to settle for exercising at home today.  I also plan to just relax, watch the snow, and hopefully finish up my Christmas present knitting!

Have a great day, everyone.

By now it's at LEAST a foot of snow. Ugh.........

We are hanging at home, cooking, wrapping gifts and watching TV.

We did venture out this morning, roads are treacherous and we are now home for the day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Getting ready to go to work. We have about 6 inches here so far. The worst part is getting out of the driveway as we live on a really steep hill.

Hope everyone is enjoying the snow!

Up early... baking cookies and cleaning today. Fireplace is roaring and Carols are on the radio.  It looks like a great day to stay in and get caught up.  Wrapping still left and stockings to stuff.  Hope everyone enjoys the day.

Go****'s almost time to start Sunday's roll call, LOL

Anyway - I was up and out early - left the house before 7am...did the food shopping that was planned well before the snow storm was predicted.  Came home...Bri helped me put it all away.  Then I wrapped gifts and ended up going back and forth with the in laws about a get together tonight for my FIL bday party.  That got cancelled.

So I spent the afternoon baking and what not.  I LOVE the snow!  I don't mind driving in it...I don't mind shoveling it (although hubby did it all today for me...) I just don't mind it at all.

Got some yummy things baked...some of which I can have, some of which I can't.  Had one failed baked good...but no big deal.

The only thing that got me cranky today is hubby has been watching a bunch of creepy halloweeny type movies today.  EXCUSE ME....I made sure he had all of October for his Halloween crap - this is December.  Why the hell are these movies on anyway?  Hmmm??  Missed having my Christmas stuff on while I was wrapping/baking but oh well.

I'm exhausted (probably cause I got about 4 hours of sleep, interrupted) so it'll be an early night.

Hope you enjoyed your white day!

Kind of wish I lived  a little more south, we are only getting about 4 inches, but that is still enough to get on the sled with the kids maybe even build a snowman :)
