Ask them what their approach is and how long they have been doing this.

Be very specific about what your struggle is and what you are looking for, so she can tell you if she can help you

Thanks Nicole.. I will ask those things and be honest and specific.  She is listed as a food addictions specialist on our provider search website.  Also, when I left the message for her to call me back, I said that I had WLS and was now struggling, so hopefully she heard that part of the message and has a step up on what I am looking for.

I'm nervous about going, but I know I'm doing the right thing for me.

When I found my therapist I didn't go in with any specific questions.  I thought I needed to but took my hubby's advise.

I asked Gene (him being a therapist and all) what I should ask her.  His response to me was to talk to her and see how I feel.  He said finding the right therapist is like going on a date, you talk, get to know each other, see how comfortable you are, after that you will know if the two of you are a good fit.

I took his advise.  The first two therapist I saw I did not click with at all.  The third was amazing, I knew from hello that we were right for each other.

Good Morning Jo,
I was also up at 4:00, and am up now. 

My daughter and grandson are coming over this morning.  She will help me with a project I am working on, and he will be his adorable, cute self.  Mom might come over too.  She has not met Lincoln yet.  After we get done the project, we hopefully will grab some lunch.  Then, I might make some cookies.  We also have to get this place ready for Christmas brunch.  

I have a ton of stuff to do.

Good morning everyone -

I'm at work today til 3:30 and then I have to get to the liquor store to get my holiday booze presents.  After that, I'll head home to relax and then get to bed early.  I'm not done shopping, so my plan is to get up super early tomorrow morning and head out.

We got a great holiday gift! the kids are flying us out to California to spend a week with them!  We leave today!!  So, it will be in the 50s and 60s while we are there! See ya later!
