********Freezing Cold Tuesday Roll Call*******
Can't sleep....too agitated tonight. I am not used to my new apartment, and then went back to work on Monday, leaving me totally nuts now. I am heading to bed, but thought I would post the freezing roll call.
Tuesday has me heading back to school, where the heat did work. I have to reacclimate to that too, because they painted my classroom over the holiday break, rearranging all my furniture and taking down all my posters, and I had no clue until I walked in Monday, and could not figure out why my filing cabinets and tables were moved.
After work, it is walking Muttley, and then, back to my apartment to empty more boxes. I feel like there is something else I should be doing, oh, yes, I must call my doctor to ask if it is okay to start a water aerobics class, as I found on at Carl Sandburg Middle School in Levittown. No pre-registration and it is $4 a session. Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm. With my herniated discs and fibro issues I thought I might ask before jumping into the pool without my swimmies...hehe
Stay warm. Wear your long underwear and be proud to do so. Better to be warm, then to freeze your buns.
Hugs,
Trish

I'm getting ready to head to bed shortly myself. Waiting on hubby to finish playing his game on his phone.
I'm sure once you get used to your new apartment, it will be soooo much nicer. When we moved here I kind of felt the same way....my last night of work at my old job was 10/30 into the morning of 10/31 We moved the morning of 11/1 and then I started the brand new job on 11/3 Talk about being out of sorts and feeling discombobulated! I totally feel you!
Anyway...once I get up in the AM I'll probably just be hanging around the house checking on the boards and stuff like that. Sometime in the late afternoon we are headed to my parents house. Mom is taking a bunch of left overs from me from our holiday party that we didn't get to pack up before she left, and also the old bedding from our previous bed. We have a really nice down comforter and stuff which now no longer fits on our new bed - and their house has a total of 3 full size beds...so at some point, it will go to good use (one of them happens to be the bed I sleep in when I am there...so it works out well for me, LOL)
Spending the evening with them after they get home from work and will stop over to see my grandmother who lives pretty close to her. They apparantly got their new car...a Honda CRV I believe. Gulp. She's 78 years old and is now driving something brand freaking new....and it's bigger than anything she has driven before. I can't say I'm totally thrilled with the idea...but it is what it is. So...gonna go congratulate her on her new wheels.
It'll be back home sometime later at night...I'm thinking between 9 and 11....

Good Morning Trish & PA:
Back to work today after my unexpected day off yesterday. I took it really easy yesterday with food will do the same today after getting so sick from eating meat on Sunday. I do have an upper endoscopy scheduled for the end of this month so we'll see if it is a stricture or my pouch is just overly picky at this point.
Today I'll be in work till 4, I know my email is blown up with requests since I have not been in work since last Thursday in the am. AFter work I'll stop at Curves then home to the treadmill. When I get home had to buckle down to some homework.
Hope everyone stays warm today. Over the weekend Gene and I went shopping for an electric heater for under my desk at work. It will be nice to be warm for a change.
Have a great day...

Thanks for the chuckle this morning Lisa ;)

Good Morning everyone -
Not too much on my plate today. I'll wor****il 3:30 and then try to hit the grocery store on the way home. I'm out of Babybel light and I really must get it and have it in the house. Yesterday I had regular american cheese with my lunch instead of Babybel and when I put the stats into Fitday, I about choked. Pre-WLS - I used to eat american cheese constantly - loved it. No wonder I got to the weight I was at.
Hope everyone stays warm and has a good day.

Good Morning All! I didn't think that it was as bad out there this morning, probably because the wind isn't blowing.
Today has me at wor****il 2 then off to have an ultrasound! Love getting to see the baby! After that I am headed home to try out prenatal yoga, make dinner and relax.
Have a good day all

Morning Trish, PA!
I remember how disconcerting moving into a new apartment can be, I always woke up feeling like where am I, which is so much different than when I bought my house, the day I woke up in it, I lay in bed and heard a woodpecker for the very first time and I felt like, this is home, it just made me know that I was in the right place and I'm sure you will feel that way soon ;)
Well I had a rough night courtesy of Foxy Roxie, or as my other nickname for her is Miss Wiggle Butt (she is just too cute when she wiggles her whole butt instead of just her stumpy), anyway, she must have dry skin and is itching a lot, at least I hope it is just dry skin and not allergies, but for now the vet said to put her on benadryl and see how that goes, but I can tell you last night it did not go well as she woke me several times with her scratching, yes, I have succumbed to letting her sleep in the bed (lol), now who didn't think I would. . . lol anyway, I'm up, feeling good, albeit tired and am about to get ready for work.
Today I will be working and then coming home to relax, going to do a workout video in the office at lunch time, as we have set up a little workout room in the office, with weights, cords, dvd player and the like. . . it's a backup for days like today when I am tired and not ready to jump into my gym clothes at 5:30.
Hope you all have a wonderful day, stay warm and find something to be happy about!
Hugs, Laureen
