New to OH Board

Hi everyone
I am new to the OH message board and also the PA board as well.  I am scheduled for Lap Band surgery on Tues Jan 26th in Reading PA.  I am very excited and also a little bit nervous and was just hoping to find some friends in the area or anyone *****cently had the lap band and how its working out for them.

Hi Lori, and welcome to the PA forum.  I can't help you on the Lap-Ban since I had RNY.  It's very normal to be nervous, but you'll do just fine if you follow your surgeon's directions.  Good luck to you.

Hi Lori!   Welcome to the PA board!  There's a lap band forum on OH, so you might be able to get advice/info there.  Stick around here too---it's a great place to be!!!

Thanks Julia!  I didn't realize there was a separate forum for Lap Band . I wll have to check that out, but I definitely will be around here too! I'm happy that there is a place that I can come to to get advice and information from people who have done it before.
