Sue,

Nothing can ever make this easy... but I hope for both of you that you find peace and quiet among the grief.  Hospice is truly a blessing.  In the rush of caring for your father, don't neglect to care for yourself.

Hugs.

Sue,

My thoughts and prayers for you, your dad and your family at this time.  We were lucky enough to have hospice care for my father 16 years ago as he was in a coma from a brain tumor.  I can never sasy enough good things about hospice workers.  It was such a blessing to my mother and us that he was at home during his final days.  His one request when he heard that he was terminal was that he not die in a hospital attached to a lot of machines.  We promised that we would give him this one final gift.  BTW we all gave him permission to go but he decided when he was ready.  Take care of yourself.

I haven't given him my permission to go ..(out loud)

I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Susie
