*** Monday Presidential Roll Call ***
Morning, Friends!
Today is the last day of the show. It's been miserably slow - buyers are still trickling in who have been stranded in various areas of the country, so they're rushing through and trying to see everything way too fast. and there are a lot fewer buyers here than in past years - a disappointing trend, but not totally surprising. I did have a gallery in Dallas TX pick up my cuff bracelets (yay), so it's not a total loss... haha. And I took the opportunity to have some of my work professionally photographed (it's such a pain to get that done, but with someone at the show, it makes it much easier). Found some gorgeous stones from a supplier to work into more jewelry, and found out about a show in chicago that I just may do this summer - debating it. I've also had fun hanging out with some of my jewelry buddies that I haven't seen since August (or in some cases, since last February).
This afternoon is show breakdown (show ends at 3), so I'm hoping any snow holds off until after that, because even if it's a small amount will make loadout miserable and it's already a painful process.
Today's Becky's 18th birthday, so I'm trying to get home in time for a nice dinner with her. Then hopefuly going to sleep early because I'm just exhausted from the show routine for 5 days - this one's a killer! Then it's back to "real" work tomorrow. Sigh.

well hello everyone in OH land.. I am just getting in from karaoke. Yes, I realize it's 12:45pm. My babysitter was sick so she couldn't come last night for Siehara. We called all over the place for sleepovers with friends and couldn't find anyone. Finally, I decided to ask the friend I was going out with if it would be okay for Siehara to hang out with her daughter while we went out. So, that's what we did. We drove down last night around 8:00. I left Siehara at her house and was then the designated driver for the girls and we headed to karaoke. Siehara and I crashed on her sofa bed and left there around 11. We got home, I took a shower and now I am debating on whether or not I should take a nap. I'm thinking not because it will probably just make me feel worse. I'll just plan to go to bed right after Siehara does tonight. We had a great time last night and I'm so glad I was able to go. There will be pics on facebook at some point.
Today has me relaxing most of the day. I am going to go over to LVH to see Lynn who had her surgery today. I'll do that this afternoon at some point. I'm not sure if I'll make it to the gym tonight or not. There is spin, but I don't know if I'll have the energy to go or not. We'll see how I feel come 6:00.

I barely made it to my appointment with the rheumatologist this morning, but I did. He gave me a cortisone shot in my right hip. While resting it with ice, I fell asleep in the rocking chair. I hate that. I should not be this tired, but one of my pain meds does that.
I should do some tidying, and then I will head to group later.

Good afternoon everyone. I spent last evening and this morning making fastnachts for Fastnacht Day tomorrow. Talk about temptation. I will admit to you my fellow WLS friends. I had a donut hole. Maybe two. Ok, three. I had three donut holes. They were really small though. Perhaps 1/2 the size of a Dunkin Donuts donut hole. I restrained myself last year but just couldn't do it this year. Anyhow... they were awesome, as good as I remember in fact. However, I now have no desire to have any others, which I am pretty impressed with. I had my little fix and I am good to go.
So yeah anyway, we made approximately 35 dozen and just kind of give them to family and friends. It's a lot of fun and I took some pictures, but never remember how to put them on here. Once I figure it out, I will. It's definitely a fun time.
Well now I am at work till 1am and then working the Paramedic job tomorrow from 6a-6p. Hope everyone has a good night and a blessed Fastnacht day tomorrow...
