****Terrific Tuesday Roll Call****

Good morning Trish and all of PA - Trish - hurry back to school - I know the KIDS love and miss you!  (I have NOT said a thing to our mutual students BTW)

Well...the party is over for now...I am back at school, sitting in my surprisingly warm classroom.  I am quite impressed that I am NOT freezing.  The students are coming back to a test today so hopefully I will be able to get the grading done that I ignored during our surprise "Spring Break".

So - my crazy Tuesday is back, work til 3:15, Hebrew School til 6 and Confirmation Academy til 8:30.  The change in this evening is that as it is my daughter's 12th birthday her daddy is coming to take her to dinner after Hebrew school and we are giving her her cell phone.  We didn't give it to her this morning.  I couldn't tell if she was upset or not, she did get MANY other gifts today - but I wanted to throw her off a little.  So on the ride to Hebrew School, I will torture her a little more talking about her birthday and the gifts she got and if she had a good day....etc....  I am sure she will be thrilled when she gets it tonight!

That is my day - I hope you all have a nice Tuesday!

Good morning everyone - prayers are with you Trish - please take care of  yourself.

I am also struggling to keep my spirits up this morning - had to call the EMTs for my mom again on Sunday. She started getting sick with a stomach thing Thursday night - Friday she seemed a little better but Saturday was a total nightmare. Needless to say we did not get to the beach for my friends' birthday - by Sunday morning I gave mom the ultimatum that if she wasn't feeling better by noon we were calling 911, but 1/2 hour later she called me in her room and said she was ready to go. Last night she looked much better after getting fluids into her system and antibiotics - right now they're treating her for pneumonia but aren't sure that is the true culprit. They did a lung scan yesterday and can see 'something' in the lower lobe of her left lung (that is the one with the inoperable tumor) - they don't know if its fluid, mucus build-up or the tumor spreading. They're giving her 2 days of treatments to see if it is fluid - if not then they will do a lung probe or something of that nature to see what's down there. About 15 years ago my younger sister landed in the hospital (she's severely asthmatic) and had mucus plugs buildling up in her lungs so we're wondering if its something like that - guess we'll know in the next few days.

My mom just called all upset - they're trying to give her blood thinners - I'm sure one of the things they may be thinking is a blood clot, even tho she has a Greenfield screen/filter to prevent them, but she is prone to clots. I guess I'll be calling the doctor who ordered that to see what's going on - could be a very long day...

So please excuse me if I'm not very active on the board for the next couple of days...I can't respond from my iPhone but I can read your posts.

Good morning, all.  I'm here to pledge my 24 hours of sobriety and sane eating.  Life is good.  I had an AMAZING Valentine's Day complete with sugar-free chocolates, cards, roses and jewelry.  I'm watching the snow fall from my office window.  It's so pretty when it's out there and I'm nice and cozy in here.  My boss is stuck in traffic so I can relax for a few minutes before starting my work day.  Prayers going up for Kathy and Trish.  Also, Liz, hope your pouch feels better today.  I really want to thank you for posting your daily eating plan.  It has inspired me!

Blessings, Jill

Good Morning Friends!

Trish, hugs to you.  The fact that you can admit how you feel and that you're scared of it is a big step in healing - it means you're actually feeling instead of numbing, and that the wounds are starting to heal.  Time and patience, therapy and love...

Kathy - will be sending lots of good thoughts your way for you AND your mom...

Jill - you continue to be an inspiration with your perseverance and dedication.  Good for you and keep it going.

Liz - hope the pouch feels better
Pam - hope your night continued to go well, and the getaway with Brian sounds amazingly wonderful and romantic!

Steffi - you're such a mean mom, torturing your daughter like that.  (isn't it FUN, though?!)

Lisa - I also have to call Dr. P's office today for my april appt - my reminder popped up on my phone this morning.

Anyway, back at work today for the first time in a week, so am getting back into the routine.  I was SO exhausted this morning - gotta catch up on rest post-show - so I gave myself one more day off from exercise.  Just needed that sleep.  Couldn't even stay up for the pairs skating last night (which I always love), so I turned on the Tivo and went to bed (and am now trying to stay away from news of who won).

Cabinets are getting delivered on Thursday, so now I can buckle down and get the rest of the prep work done for the kitchen remodel, now that the show is over.  Yay!

Afternoon everyone...

Hope everyone's day is looking up and/or going well.  My goal for the rest of the week is to post in the morning.  I'm working today until 6pm.  After that I need to deliver a few fastnachts and then home for the evening to see the family.  My sister-in-law's dog died on Sunday night and my girls were quite fond of her.  We need to tell them but not sure how they will process the whole thing.

Otherwise, nothing planned at all for the night, except going to bed early tonight.  The 4 and half hours of sleep I got last night aren't cutting it.

Have a great rest of the day!

Hey Party People-

I had a good day today. Got my workout in early this AM and work went by quickly... found out I will chaperone an alternative spring break trip (students do community service/help others instead of partying) to Cincinnati, OH. Figured since they are giving up their spring break to help others the least I could do is make sure the trip could happen as they were short on adults to assist.

Getting ready to start dinner and watch a movie with my boyfriend.

Hope everyone is doing well.
