SINGLE DIGIT?!?!
So, you all know how my scale is just NOT moving. I have been stuck at the same freakin' weight since September. But I am obviously doing something right in the gym because OMG!!!!!!!
Here's the deal. I went to Ross today to get a shrug to go with the size 10 dress I bought a few weeks ago for the Bar Mitzvah I have this weekend. While I'm there, I'm browsing the dress racks and see a really cute dress that I like in an 8.. so what the hey.. I'll try it on. It freakin' fit!!! Then, I try another one on.. that fit too!!! OMG!!! Didn't find a shrug yet, but I did buy one of the dresses!
This one was cute without the shrug, but I didn't like how the shrug fit, so I didn't get it.

I bought this one!!! You'll probably see it live and in person on 3/20 at Liz's

Lisa, both of these dresses are dynamite, but I would have bought the blue/black one as well. You look fantastic!
And an 8!!!! Congratulations!
I had a "good clothes weekend." Pulled out my next size down jeans - a pair of size 10 Gloria Vanderbilt's I'd gotten on sale at Costco over the holidays. I remember almost taking them back several times, because they looked so impossibly small. But Saturday I just thought, "I wonder if..." and they FIT!!! Now, these jeans are cut like skinny jeans, if you know what I mean, so I'm thinking that in some "mom jeans" brand, they would probably be sized as an 8. But wow!
Then I mentioned to Mike that I would need to think about getting a new raincoat for spring. My old one is (1) a size 18W and (2) worn out. He suggested we go to Burlington Coat Factory to browse - and I found an Anne Klein raincoat with a BELT...size M...and IT FIT!!! So I took the plunge and said I didn't need to browse a whole lot more!
Isn't it a good feeling???? Even when the scale is stubborn, that workout stuff really does the trick, huh???

Thanks Lynn.. and congrats on your own clothing WOWS!!!
Mediums seem so unrealistic at the beginning of the journey. I also have a medium jacket and at Barix on Saturday I bought a respect the pouch t-shirt in a medium. I figured I would shrink into it,but it FIT OVER the shirt I had on!
I am so grateful that I decided to incorporate the gym into my life. It has made things so much better!
