cooking question - packed brown sugar

Ok - so if a recipe calls for "packed' brown sugar (which I know how to do with regular brown sugar), what do you do with your maltitol brown sugar crystals or diabetisweet brown sugar as an equivalent?  Is it a 1 cup for 1 cup equivalent or do you add something to make it "pack"?

Enquiring minds and all that...

I just use 1 cup of it. I never mind if something is a little less sweet as a result.
