OT - anniversary gift advice.... Ladies??
Oh Lisa how ironic that you mention this. I received a coupon book just like this for Valentine's Day. I thought it was one of sweetest, most thoughtful gift that I have ever received. Then I tried to use some coupons. 5 minute back rub? Nope, I got 2 minutes. Night of ???? Nope. Worst gift ever...lol. Great suggestion though....
I've done the coupon book for Bri, too. And although he loved it....the same basic thing happened. Many went to "waste" and actually, while we were moving from jersey to pa cleaning out drawers...we found it..shoved waaaay back in a drawer....lol
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
At least get her a card and send flowers. That is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ok! Or call ahead and get the flowers and chamagne in the room. Something, even little, is always better than begging for forgiveness!

I agree with Pam.. you need to get something for her, especially since you are not going to Aruba until the end of the month. A card, flowers.. something.. just so she knows that you remembered and that you care. DO NOT go without getting something. Forgiveness will not be had that easily. (this is coming from someone who never got anything for any occasion, TRUST ME)
first off.... i LOVE aruba...
you could see if there is a spa down there that you can schedule her an appointment, and print up a little fake gift certificate to give her on your actual anniversary... something for her to be given on that day, and some thing to look forward to while on the trip.

how about a technomarine watch? they are nice ones and down there reasonable or movado which I own two of them and I hear down there much cheaper? The gift of time the only sparkel I wanted is diamond earrings hmmmm someday. George told me my Expedition was my engagement ring. How about that one! Talk about not being a big spender! Okay I will shut up about the Expedition but the watch was a decent idea. The technomarine watch got alot of compliments. And the photo album and flowers and champagne and strawberries ok don't blame us if theres another family member nine months from now.
