New to the site and this board
Hi everyone, I came across this site tonight, signed up, and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Liz and I'm from Pittsburgh, pa. I'll be having my lapband surgery on April 8th with Dr. Courcoulous. some of the stories that I have already read are amazing and so inspirational. Well, there's my intro ;0) p.s. I posted this on my page too, but any advice on how to upload photos? I tried so many times, but it always tells me the resolutions too big.
Welcome to the board! We're a great group. Just as an FYI there is ALSO a lapband group. I'm certainly not trying to steer you away from us - we LOOOOOOVE having new people - but just thought I'd let you know. We do have some "banders" who post often on this board too, you will fit right in.
As far as pics are concerned....the best way I can figure out how to do it is the following:
1. Go to www.photobucket.com and create and account (it's free)
2. Upload the pic you want to use as your avatar to there.
3. There is a resizing option - resize it to "avatar" or 100x100 or less
4. Save this new image to your computer
5. come back to OH and use THAT saved image.
