Terrific Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning.
Took Sawyer to school this morning so he didn't have to carry his snack for the party on the bus. Came home, made breakfast. I made 60 deviled eggs yesterday. I need to make a few dozen more today, and also make Potato Salad. I don't even eat it anymore but it's always what people want me to make.
This afternoon I have a meeting at the hospital. I am afraid it is going to end with me being let go of my PRN position with the Nephrologists. They haven't needed to use me in over 2 months at any of the offices so I think they may let me go. It's budget time and I guess it doesn't make sense to keep me on payroll for nothing. But I will be so sad if that is the case. I know I haven't filled in much but I still like knowing I have the connection to my docs and patients. So we will see. Wish me luck!

Thanks Pam. I hope I am just being paranoid. LOL. But I know how it works. And I know it's budget crunching time. So it seems more than coincidence that this meeting has come up and it's not just with MY boss, it's with her boss and HR. Maybe HR can find me another PRN position if the one I am in now is going to be eliminated. Who knows.

Attention JEWS observing Passover: think at least 5 times before making matzah brie.. even though you soak the matzah in water and dunk it in eggs, it will still expand in your pouch and make you feel like crap. I'm hoping this will pass soon. UGH
Anyway.. working today .. no OT.. didn't see the point since I was off for 3 days this week.
Waiting to hear from my babysitter to see if I can go to bingo tonight. If not, then I will go to the gym.
