sticking to the basics - FRIDAY!!!
Well I'm out in triage and I've noticed a big "want" to "snack" while out there...and if I don't bring stuff with me I've been known to hit the vending machines. So instead, I'm breaking my meals down smaller. I understand it doesn't solve the issue with snacking when bored or tired (two major issues when out in triage on the overnight on my first night back) but it at least stops the unplanned snacking....so here's what I have packed
1/2 of a pudding parfait (sf chocolate pudding layered w/ strawberries, bananas, sf cheesecake pudding)
1/2 of a sandwhich w/ ham and cheese on a bagel thin
1 ounce almonds
Greek yogurt w/ berries
1/2 of the pudding parfait
1/2 of the sandwhich
1 ounce almonds
I'll plan out what I'll eat when once I get there

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
