Welcome to the PA board! I am a new addition to the board as well and have found it to be extremely helpful and supportive. And BTW, none of the ladies here are nosey or sarcastic or possessive..... wait, nix that, yes they are but its in a good way. Its kind of like a big happy if somewhat disfunctional family.

My my my aren't we a chatty group this morning? I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I've had a busy morning thus far and am now procrastinating the rest of my stuff, lol
I got up and roasted two cornish hens (but here I call them "small chickens because picky pants won't eat "cornish game hens" but you can convince him to eat "small chickens" - for those who are new, I am referring to my 36 y/o HUSBAND not a child, lol, although the smilarities are similar)
I also made a bunch of chicken empanadas without a recipie, and without ever doing it before. It's for a work party tomorrow night. I poached some chicken, shredded it, seasoned it with some spices and some chipoltes in adoboe sauce...got the premade rounds from the goya frozen section...fried em up. I had one to taste the seasonings and hot darn it they turned out good. Not entirely WLS friendly, but the work party is a going away party for a girl who loves spanish style food, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I also made plantains, first time for that as well.
Then it was talking to my dad for about 30 mins and then passing along all that info to hubby.
I MUST get dressed and get my butt over to SHH for a TB test. I need two of em in two weeks and the first one must be done today so that I can have the final one completed before 5/10
Once home I need to pack up food for work and then hopefully get at least a two hour nap in, more if I can finagle the time.
Oh - and I'm in TRIAGE tonight so if anyone wants to play...I'll be around :)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I've got 4 daughters...3 are in dance...the oldest doesn't dance any more. She found it interfered with her texting. This is THE BIG WEEK for dancers. Rehearsal Thursday for 7 hours...first recital on Friday night, then 2 more on Saturday. The instructors are pretty "rigid" and I mean that with the utmost respect. All dancers hair is to be a certain way, makeup...even on 5 year olds, be there until it's over...blah, blah, blah. I totally enjoy it, but, it makes for a very long week! Sunday will be all about sleeping in.
My husband is all about the girly stuff. He's got no choice. He's currently sporting a pink toenail. It won't be long, we'll get more than one.
Ok, babies want fed...time to go work.

Today is my early day so I'm outta here at 3:30, getting my nails done and then heading to a support meeting in NJ that I attend monthly.

Good Morning Everyone.... or at least i think it's still morning....
I just wanted to welcome all the new people. Even though I'm not so new, i am somewhat of a lurker (even though I'm trying to change that). It's good to see so many new faces.
Today on the agenda for me is finally getting my truck fixed... Robb took the day off work to put in my new radiator. It makes me so happy. I knew there was 3 weeks i couldn't drive due to my surgery, but the other 4 weeks have been torture. After that we have to run to Delaware Tech so Robb can register for his dealer classes for potentially being hired at Delaware Park as a poker dealer. I think he will be good at it... he has the temperament for it. Later this evening I will be doing some research for myself and sending out some resumes. It's hard, with Robb losing his job in June we are both doing everything we can to make sure the money is still coming in.
Other than that not much on the agenda for me today. I kinda wish I had more to do at this point.
