One for the Girls - HELP!!

Okay Ladies (guys, you can read but I'm warning you right now it's all about the BRA)...

Like a lot of us in our fluffier days I was very, very busty - since WLS I have lost a significant amount of 'substance' in the girls and am having a miserable time finding a decent bra. I had found some nice ones at Penney's but of course they're not making them anymore, and they were unlined which made me uncomfortable since the girls always seem to be 'on point' anymore - if I was 20 or even 30 I could handle it - at 52 it's really not a good look - LOL!

So after talking to a friend last week I decided to give Victoria's Secret a try - ordered 4 from their catalog - I went from a 48 DD pre-op to a 40 D post op. While these bras I got are really nice and lined I find as soon as I start moving around so do the 'girls' and I'm spilling out over the top. Do I need to go back to a DD? I'm thinking then it'll be too big. ARGH!!!!

So what's a girl to do with her saggy girls??? HELP!!!

I'd take your saggy girls to the Victoria's Secret store or Macy's, Lane Bryant etc and get fitted. If the girls are overflowing I would say that it's too small in the cup size.

Bras suck! by the way

Yeah, I just convinced myself to go over to the mall at lunchtime and visit LB and try them on in the store - I need an underwire now (cheaper than surgery!!) and also need new undies (TMI?) and I love their Cacique (sp?) brand so I might as well treat myself. Yeah, the 4 I ordered from VS will be going back tomorrow...it's just so stinking frustrating!!

My gf did tell me that Penney's has the ones I like on line and they are on sale, but they're not lined - altho they do cover all the skin, which is nice.

Just found out I've gone from a 48DDD to a 40C and I'm not done losing. I read in a magazine that if you decrease the band size by one measurement, the cup size could go up one size and vice versa... ie...I was trying on a 38D, but it just wasn't fitting right, so I went up one band size and down one cup size...walah...it fits great. Also had to get one with more material between the girls, no cute thin ribbon yet...might sneeze and THERE SHE BLOWS! That would be embarassing!

At size 48DDD I had been fitted at LB...they were a wonderful help!

Prior ot surgery I was a 44dd probally triple but smooshed the girls in so I didn't have to go up a size ..I had a measure session at VS and I meaasured a 38c but due to the excess skin and me crying in the dressing room I had to go up to the d cup to hold the skin.

I would suggest getting measured and if you do go to Lane Brynat this week the bras are buy 2 get 1 I think..and go to the website they are offerng a coupon for a free pair of panties the smallest is 14/16 but maybe you can pass them along ;)
