POLL--Fun!
Hey just taking a lil informal poll here....
How many of you decided to get a tattoo as a way to celebrate reaching your goal weight??
what did you get-image wise?
Where did you get it on your body?
What tattoo shop did you go to?
What are your thoughts on the experience??
Are you planning on getting another one??
**I am def saving to get my tattoo--I want to get it on my lower back(TRAMP STAMP!!!! LOL) and i am deciding between a Cross with flowers intertwined around it or a very girly fairy...what do you all think??
Thanks! Much luv!!

I am getting my left ankle done with the words Dream, Believe and Hope in script lettering and on teh end of the M I want a cowgirl hat with bright flowers.
I just won a silent auction at a charity event for Bird Tattoos so I will be going there to get it done in Bensalem
I don't mind when I get one and after that one I will be done.
They both sound nice but go with your heart on what you want....I feel they are a personal thing and expression.
I want two more things - one - another tattoo - also thinking of a tramp stamp - still not sure - of the Pi symbol. Afterall - I AM a math teacher. And after I get the tummy tuck - I soooo want a belly button ring.....I think it is doing whatever it is that makes you feel good about your body - we have had so many body image issues in our lives that doing one little thing for ourselves that make us feel good is sooo worth it!!!!
Keep us posted on what and where you get it! :)
Most of you know that I gave my daughter up for adoption when she was born in 1977 (too young, no money, no man, no way to raise a child) - anyway, when she turned 21 I started posting on internet adoption websites with my info and lo and behold on September 19, 1998 I got THE BEST phone call of my life - it was this beautiful voice asking me if I was Kathy Hynson (my maiden name) and I said yes, and she said 'I think I'm your daughter' - talk about a moment that literally takes your breath away!!
Anyway, 1 year later on our first reunion anniversary we decided to get matching tattoos - she was no stranger to tats as she already had a couple, but I had never gone that route. We spent the day in New Hope wandering around - wandered into a piercing shop that did other things and quickly ran from there, then found a nice little tat shop on a side street.
At first we didn't know what to get but she was wearing a mother and child pendant that I had given her so the tattoo artist took it and drew it up for us, and we both got it on the outside of our left ankles.
I love my little tat - it means the world to me. I'm trying to save money for plastic surgery someday - I need that more than another tat - but hey, never say never, right!!
