***Sleepy Saturday Roll Call***
Good morning everyone....
I survived my long day and what a shock, I'm still awake. Just got home at 11:30pm and needed to wind down time. I really should get to bed since I can only sleep till like 8:00 - 8:30am. Tomorrow we are having lunch / brunch with some friends and that's about it for tomorrow besides working night shift in Allentown 6pm to 6am.
I'm so sorry to be missing cooking class. Very sad about that but looking forward to maybe getting some sleep in the afternoon since the morning clearly isn't going to happen.

Need to get to bed myself - we continued working on planting annuals and spreading mulch from 4:30 - 9pm tonight. We will get in ~ 2 more hours of planting & mulching in the am before we head to Doylestown. Am worried that if I get Mark started on mulching, he won't want to go to the class with me..
I made little chocolate / peanut butter parfaits (using perfectly sized little 1.5 oz cups) and prepped the turkey burger sliders for grillin' at Karens (they have tomato, rr peppers, basil, garlic and feta in them.. ) - doing them open face with little mini kimkins protein bread and lowfat garlic mayo & sprouts
Tomorrow evening, we will continue to plant, weed, mulch, mulch and mulch some more
Have to get done this weekend since I am away next week in Nashville for work and we are in DC for memorial day weekend....
Well - off to bed..

Yep - they were just TOO cute! And we did have a recipe with your name written all over it - stuffed cherry tomatoes (Pizza-stuffed tomatoes, actually). Pam (newbie Pam, not ER Pam) was good enough to step into your shoes and did a lovely job coring them and stuffing them. But when i found the recipe, i actually wrote "STEFFI!!!" beside it... and then someone else today said "Boy, this is a Steffi recipe"... so you have become an adjective! Congratulations!

Good Morning Eric & PA:
Up early - Gene's graduation is today. What an awesome 3 years this has been and now we are at the end of this journey!
Yesterday was pretty awesome, Gene had an interview to teach Family Systems Theory on the graduate level at one of the Philadelphia Colleges - He got the job!!!!! August he begins teaching!!!!!
Then spent the morning with some awesome post graduate students who were graduating from another program that Gene is involved with also based in family system's theory.
The afternoon was spent with the Doctoral Graduates. It has been a year since we have seen most of the graduating class. After rehersal we went to Vinnie T's on Lancaster Ave for dinner. Dinner was a challenge for me - there was nothing on the menu that I was comfortable trying. We stayed for a bit then Gene suggested we leave since today was such an early day. It is amazing to have this support - he's been here, knows what it's like to not see anything on the menu that will agree with him and really understands how I was feeling at dinner.
Today I have to finish getting dressed, pack up food/snacks for the day. Hopefully it will be a bit earlier than yesterday. We were both exhausted by the time we arrived home last evening.

No idea why I am up at 6:00 on this Saturday since I was out last night and didn't go to bed till after 1 last night. We ended up going out to dinner last night to a local place with outside seating plus had the great pleasure of having Steffi and Larry join us. Then Kim and her hubby Shawn met us later on for ****tails. It wasa really fun time and I totally adore Steffi.
Today I had a DJ job but the husband hired me for his son's graduation party then his wife hired someone else who was a friend so they canceled me. I was not upset at all Ihave been working every weekend the last few weeks so this is a welcome break. I am going to just be home and get stuff done around the house before they condemn it. Then I will head out to meet up with some amazing friends to see Air Supply tonight.
Life is great these days and hope everyone enjoys there day!

Had a FAB impromtu night out with Beth, Dennis, Kim and her husband Shawn - we laughed so much - and Larry even flirted with a MALE friend of mine......LOVED it! :) especially because the male friend had no idea for a while that it was him he was playing with.....I love my new life....aaaahhhhhh.....
I am up early and going to take Josh to school for a robotics competition - coming back home to shower and get dressed in that FAB dress with the AWESOME shoes from last week for yet ANOTHER Bat Mitzvah service. This will be my fifth service in 8 days. Does god give out medals to the ones who attend the most religious events...I think this week I am in the running...oy! Taking Molly to a City Year event on the way to the synagogue - a different one this time - atleast I am "mixing it up" a little, then the Bat Mitzvah followed by what I am sure will be a ostentatious event.....Boy do I hope that I am WRONG! Maybe I will feed my ego again and take some more pictures of me! :) But - it will be in the same dress as last week - so I don't want to bore any of you....well, maybe SOME of you! :)
Tonight is a quiet night at home - maybe with some texting and flirting to keep some friends awake and entertained! I too am VERY sad to be missing the cooking class today - my guess is for WAY different reasons than Eric - but whatever! :)
