Uh, newsflash Donna - YOU ARE ONE OF US.  It doesn't matter how far out you are from surgery - your life lessons, your successes, your pains, your triumphs will ALWAYS help someone out there.  AND, btw...it's been a year...and that counts for a LOT as far as "long timers" on here!

     So glad that I finally got to meet you after reading a lot of your posts this past year.  Wanted to let you know how proud I am of you doing the 5 day Pouch test.  I'm sure at some point in the future I will need to make use of that tool.  Sorry you won't be getting to Liz's for the July cooking class.  hope that I see you again some time over the summer.  Take care.

     The next time I see you at Barix (hopefully 1st Sat. in August) I will show you my picture from my PATS.  They gave me a copy on Monday and took a new photo of how I look today.  I can't believe how much younger I look with the weight off.  Thank you for being a very positive force on the PA board and at Barix.  Take care.

I love the way your mind grew into your new body. Anybody who has listenened to you speak along the way can see and hear the amazing transformation you have made both physically and mentally.      Another shout out to a fellow teacher.  I also appreciate your friendship and the way you have shared your journey with me and others.  You know that I hold our little pre-op group close to my heart.  We all have done an awesome job successing this past year.  Hope to see you at the Wed. support group in July.
