TGIT - Thank God it's Thursday Roll Call
I'm not going to redecorate because I know that won't go over well, plus we have the whole living in an apartment thing. But, I've already gone in and thrown a bunch of stuff away! Plus, I don't think the room has been dusted in 6 months.. LOL.. UGH.
Right now, the window is wide open.. she hates having it open and it needs some major airing out. I have a bunch of stuff piled on her bed so I can dust her furniture. I also have a big garbage bag in the middle of the room and am throwing stuff in it every time I pass by.

Morning all - I'm at work having a GOOD sf van iced coffee this morning - had to threaten my regular Micky D's guys that I was going to another location if they didn't get it right today - not that my threat meant anything to them - LOL - but I did get a GOOD coffee today.
Busy night last night - did get another night in on the bike and a long walk so feeling good about that mentally but a little stiff in the body - that will pass as I keep it up, tho. Feels good to be working out again - it has been entirely too long. Then I watered plants, cleaned the porches, and sat down around 8:30, exhausted.
Tomorrow morning I see the PCP about my recent bloodwork - most of it was great but my protein level was 1 pt below where it should be, and my liver enzymes were a little higher than they should be. I'm sure he just wants to talk to me about it and while I'm there hopefully he can flush my ears - wax build-up is killing me. If he can't get it I'll have to see an ENT.
So that's my big excitement for the day - not much!

Each day getting a little bit closer to opening the store and having surgery!
Yesterday the phone/computer line was installed. They still have to finish the electrical, finish the bathroom, have the rugs put in and paint. MAYBE I'll get the keys later next week.
Today I have my pre-op appt. with Dr. Boorse. I'm sure he will not be pleased with the effects of my "last supper syndrome" which I have been suffering with these past few weeks. 18 days to go!

Good Morning All
Amelia had a GREAT night last night! Up at 2:30 ate and back to bed. She stirred a little at 6 so I put her in bed with me and she slept until 8! I am trying to get her used to not eating at 6 and see if it works.
Today we are hanging out at home. Prepping food and packing for our weekend visiting my Grandfather. We still have to finish the pulled pork, make the stuffed shells and make chocolate chip cookies. Oh and my Uncle is coming down today to spend the night. He has some stuff to take care of here.

I miss my pa peeps! It's been a rough couple of days here...nothing that isn't settled now but sheesh. That along with finishing my 8 twelves in 9 days as of Monday night....I was just DONE with just about everything and anything.
Already did the gym thing....a separate post about that.
Home now, catching up on posts, will pack food for work, work on some laundry, and then hopefully be back in bed by 1ish to get a good solid nap in. I have a nursing student with me tonight....I had her on Monday night too...she's not bad...but it's hard to juggle her, my patients, and break MY routine. But I try to keep in mind how I felt during that time frame and let her take the lead. And, not to mention, I try not to do to much online/phone stuff when she's there....lol Good behavior and example setting...sheesh!
Busy day tomorrow, as well (another night off) hence the reason for the good nap...I'll need it to get me through tomorrow.

Hi everyone! I haven't done a check in in ages...but here I am!
I just returned from my FL trip. Mike has been working like crazy so it was a little bit of vacation, a little bit of a "retreat", and a little bit of celebration of my surgiversary.
And while there, I spent time looking at condos for sale. We love the Naples area and it would be Mike's dream come true to retire there. I have had about 3 trips where I have looked at condos, but this time...I may have found one. Stay tuned. It is totally in the area we love most, and at a great price (but not a foreclosure). We will know today if they accept our offer...then we get to start living on beans and rice (well, no rice for me!) to balance the budget! It would be a vacation home for now, but with my work schedule I could totally spend some time there a couple of weeks at a time...
So back to work this morning...this afternoon heading over to Barix for my one year appt. with Dr. Pupkova. Gym tonight for a water aerobics class. I see the orthopedist next week to get the verdict on my knee. The pain is much better for some reason - but I can easily "make it hurt." So we will see what he says!!
