i moved to the island at the end of sept and my weight is just increasing i was wonder if the island health insurance will pay for gastric bypass surgery

yes it does. I am from NB so I don't know the process. Contact your family doctor for a referral. The only surgeon is in Moncton, but 2 new dr. setting up in Halifax The waiting list is tears long I am afraid. Well I had wrist surgery & am not supposed to be doing this. Post if you have questions.
