This weekend I just plan to chill and do things at home. I bought a zero gravity outdoor recliner and the weather is perfect for it. And I bought that panini pan you recommended, so I will play with that. Just relax and recuperate.

Topic: I'm home! And I had a NSV while I was in KC
First, KC was freezing the first day!!! After that it started warming up and I was fine. The training class I was in was good, and since my second level boss was teaching - I got plenty of "face time." Of course, the face time meant new work assignments - when she sees you, she thinks of you and work gets assigned to you..... Now, for the NSV. In the world of the IRS, you meet people from different offices throughout the country. Since I have a job where I teach and travel, I meet a lot of different people. So, I'm sitting in the training class the first day, and I realized I know two people in the class. But, I know them from before my surgery. Here's the scenario, I was the lead instructor for a two week course with an additional week of prep time. They were both on my instructing panel. We spent three weeks together - and I mean together. When you travel from home and are living in a hotel, you hang out with the other folks. So, we were together for about 10-12 hours a day. Even on weekends! They did not recognize me! In fact, later in the evening when I told one of the gals we taught together in Denver she said, "No, I taught with Kathi (the other gal in the class)..." I said, "Yes, and I was the lead instructor." It was a great feeling. Vicki

We're expecting snow and then changing to rain. If we are stuck with snow I guess I'm in watching DVD's on TV. If it does change to rain maybe tomorrow I can go out to the bank and do some shopping. Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm mostly just going to enjoy being at home! We are going to go out and celebrate my cousin's birthday tomorrow night also. That will be fun. It's not 75 degrees here - it is raining! Hopefully it won't rain all weekend - I would like to get a bike ride in. Vicki

Oh, good for you. Just the thought of spring coming in, even though it's on the other side of the country, makes me happy!! Me, on the other hand, have been watching the snow fall and screw with my plans. I was supposed to go spend some time w/ my Mom, but I dont' see that happening with 4 - 6 inches of snow expected overnight! It's either going to be a weekend w/ my mom or a weekend of R&R - hmmmmm either way....it's all good!!!

Wow...that is weird. But I see only mine....and it sounds like that's what everyone else sees. Why would anyone do that? I don't like the idea that info is broadcasted for no reason. OH should really do something.

What's everyone got going this weekend? It is 75 degrees right now at 5 pm. GORGEOUS! I love spring! My mood really lifts when it warms up. I just feel better! We're going out with 2 other couples for a Mexican dinner tonight. Not sure about tomorrow, but I think something on the BBQ is in order. Maybe just enjoy the weekend with the great weather, windows and doors open!
