Topic: It`s been almost 11 months since having my sleeve.....
and I feel amazing!!!!! I had my sleeve done on October 13th 2011 at Sacre Coeur in Montreal with Dr. Atlas and so far, I`ve lost 110 lbs...... It feels sooooo good...... I used to weigh 305 lbs and i`m now down to 195 lbs. I was wearing a size 4x shirt and 26 pants and i`m now down to size xl shirts and 14 pants. I can now buy clothes in regular stores...... PLUS, I am now under 200 lbs..... It feels so nice.... and i`m so proud. I`m so close to my goal of 170 lbs..... only 25 lbs to go!!!!
For the ones thinking about surgery or on the waiting list, please don`t give up. If I had to do it all over again, I would in an instant. The wait is so worth it...... It changed my life completely..... It`s not easy at first but it`s do able. If you have questions, please don`t hesitate to ask, i`d be glad to answer them.

Hi everybody and hope that you are all having a fantastic long weekend!
So today I went to buy myself workout gloves (the ones with the cut off fingers) for doing weights. I went to Sports Expert since I get a 10% discount because I'm a member of Mansfield gym. Anyway...I passed by the ladies department and decided to take a peek...
My trainer keeps telling me he wants to "see my shape" and wants me to wear smaller pants but I have been very stubborn so far.
Decided to try on some of those tight...unflattering work out pants just to prove him wrong...
Well...you have to remember that a short 8 months ago I was wearing a 5X...so I tried on a few and what do you know...a freakin' size XL was on me!!! And it fit!!! It's not the prettiest thing but that's the first thing I've bought in a "normal" size store and it was discounted at 50% also!!
Now to actually get the courage to wear it to the gym is another story...lol
Just wanted to share with all of you and also tell you that even if the scale does not move once in a while...your body is still changing!!

it's so hard to drink these now. Even worse than fist time. I can't get them all in. It just won't fit lol.
I know you are right about the protein and even my energy is low. I could sleep all the time as it is.
I'll have a month off to sleep :)

Hi Cindy,
I remember the OptiFast shakes...yup not fun...but it will help you get to your goal.
Try and get in as much as you can...remember you are also drinking these shakes because you will be needing the protein stored post-op.

Gettign ready for my second VSG. I started Opti Fast today, only have one week. Last time it was one month. But it's still hard to take it.
I hope I can get in 2 a day... I know you're supposed to drink 4 a day.
At least it's a long weekend so I can chill at home with my shakes :)
