Hi Jullee, It's me...Yolanda. I also go to the Tues. support groups, I sat by you last tues., didn't make it this week. I'm glad to hear that Dr. Messier finally wrote your letter. How long did it take her to write it and send it to your doc? I had my initial consult with Dr. Giovanni yesterday and have my gallbladder ultrasound and HIDA scan appts. on Fri. 3/30. The doc's. office is supposed to get back to me about the endoscopy appt. and then I just need insurance and psych approval. Seems like so much. I started this whole process in Dec. I'm hoping to have the bypass in Aug. How long did it take you to get this far? Landa

HI YOLANDA!!!!! I didnt go yesterday either...its hard to get up there sometimes cuz i live in Newport! I started going to Dr. Messier in January, so it took a couple of months to get the letter. Not too bad. Girl, just wait..thats just the beginning of your testing!! theres a whole lot more to go!!!!!! If I remember correctly the tests your going for on Friday are the ones where you have to lay on a little itty bitty tiny skinny board bed for an hour while it takes pics of your insides..lol..have fun chickaroo!!!! Well Jullee, Because of the shape of the waiting room in Dr. Roye's office we didn't really meet. I didn't see you till they called your name, you saw me wave though, right? My appointment went really well. I have lost 134lbs in my 8 months since surgery and my blood work showed that everything was at good levels. I hope your appointment went well. Dr. Roye looked sharp today, I don't think I have ever seen him out of scrubs. LOL!!! Betz

Hey Betz I saw you chickaroo..you look great!!!!!!!! Yes, Dr Roye was looking very very good today....hes a handsome man!!!!!! Everything went well, my surgery is April 18th...u probalby know that already cuz ive posted it everywhere...lol...Im happy that your doing so well..I hope I do as well!!!!!! Im sooooo nervous but yet excited..so so so so excited..lol take care!!!! Jullee

Dr. Roye is my surgeon. I couldn't be more satisfied. He is informative, straightforward and very very honest. Scheduled for banding April 10. Let me know when you are scheduled. I'll keep you posted at my end.

Im having my surgery on the 18th of April and Dr. Roye is my surgeon as well, hes great!!!
