Hi Fogo,     I want you to know that at 3pm, I am calling for my Psych Eval to be canceled. The appt was for tomorrow morning at 8:30  I believe. I received it due to a cancellation. If you're interested,  call at 3:05 and see if you can have my cancellation. Just trying to give a heads up to you to be put in sooner than Sept. ~Dawn

Dawn,  Thanks for the heads up.  Unfortunately I have to take a whole day off of work to do this.  It seems It'll be a long appointment don't want to worry about going back and forth to work.  Thanks again.  I'll keep you in my thoughts and keep my fingers and toes crossed for you.   I know you will make this happen.

Thank you Caroline and Fogo for your input. I had been on the phone with this Insurance Company every other day since June 20th.  Time to call the General Attorney and send an Appeal Letter. I AM NOT HAPPY!!

Thanks Jen     I am an extreme fighter... they can either give me an approval now or later, but either way, I WILL BE APPROVED and they need to understand that.

Dawn, OMG! I know how you feel, UHC did the same thing to me. Do you have the denial letter--check the letter for accuracy, ie: correct DR., proceedure, etc, then call and start the appeal process.  When I appealed, I had dates, times and names for every time I called UHC while I was trying to get approved and tracking down where my medical records were and why they weren't getting to the right dept. I eventually got approved by UHC, about 4 weeks from the denial letter, but I was able to switch insurance co's, and got approved that way. Patty

They are a real piece of work I tell ya! DIC DIC DIC ME AROUND each and every phone call.    Just received a phone call from the Advocacy Group through my husbands work (EMC) and the UHC representative for employees at EMC. They said they are going to handle it and make sure I get taken care of. Basically, they do ALL the work for me, and the doctors.  It's already in progress... now that is a good feeling! ~Dawn
