My Psycho appt.

Oh boy... My Psycho appt is coming up this Tuesday. Haven't really given it  any thought , never filled out the paper work, but must do it by then. LOL I do have Dr. Friedman! Happy to hear that, because I thought I had Zimmerman all along until yesterday when I called them to confirm. Imagine? I had to call them for confirmation for Oct 9th. What ever happened to the office's calling patients to reminding them? The secretary seemed to be out in left field OR completely exhausted  to the point of zoning. I hear she's incredibly nice. So, I'm looking forward to this appt., Especially meeting Dr. Friedman...   when he learns I am psycho     lol K, I'm done babbling!!    

Dawn good luck with your appointment!  They are going to ask you things like, how have you tried to lose before?   What makes you think this time will be different?  What is your definition of success when it comes to weight loss?  How do you deal with Stress?

Dawn, I just met with him this past week and he was nothing less than a gentleman with really good suggestions. His secretary is so helpful. Just remember to bring cash or your checkbook because he doesn't accept other forms of payment, but he gives you the form to submit it to your insurance. I really had a good experience, as it was my first time ever sitting down with a psych doctor. Be honest. he isn't there to deny you, just help you understand things that might come up beforehand.
