neat tips
I got one of these tips from watching Biggest Loser, and another in a health article about dieting. Biggest Loser tip was to always chew gum while you are cooking and preparing meals. It keeps something in your mouth so you don't get the urge to pick. I thought this was a really cool suggestion.
The other tip is keep some gogurt fizzix yogurt tubes on hand. They soo completely hit the spot when you need to be bad- without being bad (except for the sugar). It is like a carbonated yogurt tube in a kid size portion- and tastes GREAT!! (if you like icees- you so gotta try these). I got a box of them the other day, figured if I hated them, kids I know would devour em. I have now hid them in the fridge behind the health food so they don;t find them, they are sooo good.
Thanks so much for the tips Alexia, I have to try the Fizzix once I'm able to have food again..hahaha!
One thing about the gum though, Dr Pohls information says not to chew gum post-op because it you accidently swallowed it your opening is so small that it would get stuck and you wouldnt be able to pass it through. I'll have to do some more checking into this though. I'll ask Dr Pohl again after surgery and let you know.
Well, Tuesday is anyways.....I dont really think I've come to the entire realization yet. I got a call yesterday and they moved my surgery up from 12:30 to 7:30, so I have to be at Roger Williams at 6:30am! Hubbys father arrives on Monday afternoon, it seems like things are speeding by now and its all still kind of a blur.
I figure by Monday afternoon it will all hit and I'll become nervous.
