Pre-op testing yesterday

Hello to all!

Hope everyone had a joyous holiday!  Mine was crazy!  I spent all Christmas eve day and night cooking up a storm.

on Christmas we did the soup, antipasto and lasagna - took a break between courses and my dear Dad got dizzy and fell on my kitchen floor banging his head on the counter on the way down... so off to RI Hospital we went.. they kept him for observation....He is being sent home today.. I hope my 2008 is a heck of a lot better than 2007!

SO now I have a fridge full of food (ham & prime rib) and I am on the liquid diet! This is very difficult for me!  Did anyone get dizzy on this liquid diet?

ONLY  15 days to go!

I'm so sorry your christmas was so eventful Kim, but it sounds like your dad is doing ok now and I'm very glad to hear that.  I didnt get dizzy on the liquid diet, but the first few days were very tough. I know its hard to believe now, but it does get easier. You get used to it and then its second nature within a week or so.  I'm getting so excited for you, your surgery will be here before you know it. I remember you were one of the first people to help me when I started the process so I'm just so happy for you now.  Please let me know if theres anything I can do for you!
