Allergies worse after surgey

I am a little over 3 years post op have not had any big problems since surgery but about one year out have noticed that my allergies have gotten worse. I cant ever seem to shake this head cold. This past year has been the worse of all as it has settled in my ears so I feel like I am on a boat dizzy and nausea. Has any one elese had this happen or has any suggestions or things that have helped.  Thank you Diana

Hi Diana, I'm 5months post op and am having the same problem.  I got a bad head cold at Christmas and still cant' sake it.  I also have allegies which give me a ring in my ear, and that has bee pretty bad the last week.  I don't know if it's me or just a lot of things going around this year.  I have an appointment with my primary in a few weeks and I'm going to ask about it.  Sorry no answers, but If I find out anything that helps I'll pass it along. Thanks I am glad I am not the only one I have already been on 2 rounds of antibiotics and I am taking zyrtec and cingular. Thanks!

I was told by my primary that last year was one of the worst years for allergies and it's been hard for people to shake it.

Yea thats what I have been hearing as well. Hopefully it will end soon. Thank You both for your input.

I am pre-surgery and have had a terrible year with allergies and being sick (as have the kids too!).  Just got over a REALLY bad case of strepe that took 2 courses of anti-biotics (and nearly a 3rd)
