I met with Dr. Levin and his nurse practioner Sandy today.  Talk about today being a new day.  It was a GREAT visit.  I'm not sure how many of you had to see the heart doc, but I did because I am 50 yrs old.  They did find something on me that my mom has as well, but it doesn't seem to be a show stopper.  I have to go back on March 11 for the Echo Stress Test.  Never had one before.  Sandy said that it was no big deal because I already exercise so much (40 mins of weights and 50 mins of cardio 5 days/wk), and it's just a treadmill test.  So I am looking forward to that.   They also told me that I should get off one of my BP meds.  hip hip hooray!

Hey Robin, This is so like me tho...I am single focused when I get my mind on something.  I can't let it go til it's done.   I am out of things to do this week towards my surgery tho, except for the Support Group on Thurs nite, and of course I will be there! hahaha!!  You're seeing my obsessive side....but shhhh...don't tell anyone, and hopefully no one will notice! I had to have that test. It wasnt a big deal...just felt weird to almost have to jump off the treadmill onto a table so they could do the echo. Felt like I was gonna fall on my face. LOL but it was all fine.

Hey Cara! You're really checkin' off those appointments! Great job! Getting off the BP meds must be a relief too. I will be seeing Dr. Lanna for cardio. Do we all have to do a stress test? How the heck am I supposed to do that if I need a cane to walk with? See you tomorrow! Jules
